So the next bull run will have some issues

Earlier today we reached marketcap levels matching that of the pre bull run in November 2017. This is both good news and bad news. Good news is we can all buy all those Crypto’s we felt we missed out on, but the bad news is it might be a while before they rise. 

Why? Well there are plenty of bag holders from the last bull run that are itching to sell, and as soon as a palatable price emerges they will be dumping. So we will be in a perpetual state of dumping until the weak hands and uninformed clear out.  

So in short we will have a lot harder time seeing massive Gains as there are plenty of people ready to suppress. If you are here for the long haul, prepare for a battle as it won’t be pretty rising back to the top.

well the prices are mostly manipulated due to the introduction of bitcoin futures by cme group they have been manipulating it since then

You are very correct and i love this post. For me it's going to take at least 2 years for another bull run to set a new all time high. I am a true hodler and ready to go for 6 years :)

In Nov altcoins pumped a lot because the price of BTC was really high. And so people moved BTC to altcoins. That's not the same now. So altcoins will not have a run like back then.

Bitcoin has had 5 drops in value of around 80%. People talk about the most recent bull run as if it was the only one. In fiat terms it was the largest by far but in percentage terms it was just one of many.
This is the nature of crypto, free markets and no regulation. There will continue to be large price swings, huge run ups and spectacular crashes until crypto is regulated into a state of obideince!

I'm so sorry @crypto2crypto. I'm just so distraught about it. Not for my sake...but for others who may be scammed and TRULY not be able to afford having their money taken. I would never give more then I could afford to lose. However, others may not be so smart...and may be hurt. I've been wanting to do a post about this, because after it happened to me, I found out others are doing it too. I want to warn people but also wanted your insight on how it could happen. well from the first bull run that saw bitcoin go up to 1k and then dump down to 100-200$ and this one there was what? 2-3 years? so they will be holding for a long time and only projects with a good backing and good developments will see a rise in price, for another general bull run, we will probably have to wait for market regulations so that big money can come in and maybe even the Bitcoin LN which is the big promise to encourage mass adoption of Bitcoin...

For Steem, i guess we would probably see a up in price for the HF20 and when SMTs release, assuming they don't release at the same time, otherwise, i guess we are back on the development limbo, which, don't get me wrong, its good.

Yeah i agree, it could take a while to get another bull run going, but a lot of people confuse not being in a bull run to lack of opportunity but right now is the best time to fill bags or work your ass off here in steem to get more stake.

The sooner you get in your mind that a bull run may not come for the next 2-4 years and accept it, the sooner you will be able to start working on harvesting the sweet opportunities that the current market has.

And since the crypto community now is 100x times bigger than what it was back in 2013, opportunities are in every corner, from posting here on Steem to going around picking up airdrops, investing in proven projects that will obviously rise up faster in the next bull run.

@crypto2crypto i think market is correction mode and many country is regulation issue.after regulation market will booming.

I do believe that when the institutional money comes in --whether it's this year or 5 years from now -- it will dwarf the money that's in crypto today and the market cap will rise by multiples.
