<center><img src="https://i.imgur.com/U4bBSAb.jpg"/></center> [source](https://www.space.com/where-do-black-holes-lead.html) **Once you are sucked in you are history and here to stay for eternity.** Today was a really whacky day that started off with someone asking me about Hive and ended up this evening with my family watching a bald guy with dark sunglasses talking about NFT's on 3Speak. How nuts is that? A friend asked me today a few questions about Hive and I could tell the wheels in the brain were turning and it is as though they can see I am not nuts after all. My mates know I do this crazy thing on the blockchain, but have never really pushed it and gone into detail as from previous experiences I know they would just give up. Many said yes and never even got around to registering so it is their loss and not mine and they need to check it out themselves first before I help them. I explained how I got hooked and compared it to a black hole where you poke your head in and you just get sucked in. Thinking back to then and now and it is one of the best things I have ever done on so many different levels. I explained about the development and now we have all these tribes/communities so there is something for everyone. I do believe users who come and go have never made real connections on here and have come in with a lone wolf mentality which is super dumb as you cannot get away without supporting others. This is a two way street and to grow you have to put the hours in and that is where you are sucked in permanently. The good thing is it is enjoyable and more enjoyable when you are earning obviously. Why I believe we are all stuck here forever is that you need stake to grow and the larger your stake becomes the more you make. At some point a Tribe like Leo will increase along with Hive not only in value but in the amount of users so selling is never really an option, for me anyway. Selling the stake will be twice as hard to make it back so I just don't see the point. My friend never asked about value or what my account was worth but more about what I could make monthly if I had to rely on this to cover expenses. hen I told him it depended solely on the token price which could be 20c or $10 as it would make one hell of a difference. At 20c I said $350 as that would be roughly the liquid each month and I am not going to give any other numbers and leave it at that. I could see he was trying to picture this as the world is changing so much right now as this type of thing still doesn't sound real. People are struggling to come to terms with things as proof how weird this is I had to sit my family down to watch a @taskmaster4450 video tonight about NFT's. They had seen something with a vlogger they follow or influencer and asked me about blockchain and NFT's for the first time ever. What better way than to give them the taskmaster treatment which they thoroughly enjoyed. I hate to know what and who they have been watching as that stuff is not my cup of tea but what ever it was it has got them thinking and what am I going to be asked next? A bull market is a beautiful thing. We should see a lot of the older people look into hive again if it holds for a while.
