Bit of a glitch tonight with the Leodex wallet values, but it got me thinking not on the $44 million part, but more on the values that we could have. I am not sure if that is a combined number of $$$ invested in Leodex, but that is a sizeable number if that is the case valued at nearly 29 million Hive. These numbers will only get bigger as more is staked and all the airdrops that happen fairly frequently. Virtually something new pops up showing value on a monthly basis that I had no clue about.

last night I mentioned a $5 Hive and @tbnfl4sun mentioned it would be great for secondary tokens and yes it would. the last time Hive went up to it's all time high of $3.41 the values in Leodex were insane and values I had never imagined before. Hive doing a 300% from here does literally reflect in Leodex and a $7000 wallet rose over $20 000 in my case.

I am starting to see what many others have been preaching for some time and that there will be a point in the future when the likes of Leo and some others start making their moves. I can recall when Leo was basically 4/1 with Hive and I was cursing as I just never saw that coming. Being active in Leo now I can understand and see why this happened.

There is no reason why Leo, POB CTP or Stem or any other token cannot do something similar with adding development and use cases. Hive at some point is going to be harder to earn as more users are onboarded and the need to grow the secondary tokens is just as important as growing your Hive stake.

The airdrops we receive are most welcome and those that have been involved with POB have some YBT lined up. We know 3Speak is coming out with more than one airdrop plus Leofinance with their Project Blanc wen that happens. Just those 4 tokens alone could add a significant chunk to the value you are already holding and things are only getting started.

When tribes first started surfacing over 2 years ago I was skeptical as had no understanding the role they would play. The value we see through earning is secondary to the value they bring to the various communities. We see strong communities have strong development which raises the bar for all the other tribes to follow.

Personally I do believe that you need Hive and the secondary tokens and it is not one or the other as they compliment each other. When Hive does well the second layer tokens do well and that should be the point of benefitting increasing values. I do see a time when some of the tokens not only tribe tokens but the investments on offer such as Seed and LBI doing better than what was first thought possible. How many years time will it take for a Leodex wallet to be worth more than a Hive wallet as that could happen?
