Two days ago we had an update from the Coti team letting everyone know what is happening along with time lines. This is actually great to follow as it does clear up some of the FUD we have seen lately. Many thought that there would be launches this year and honestly that was never going to happen with the Vasil HardFork on Cardano being delayed.

DJED the Cardano Stablecoin issued by Coti has already been tested on their TestNetover a month ago. Coti has got the green light from the audit which was what theyw ere waiting for and now are adjusting the smart contracts that will allow DJED to run with the Vasil hardfork update. All the Cardano Dapps need to be updated that will be suing DJED and that will be completed this month. They are Jewish so they don't take Christmas off and will be working throughout the festive season.

Coti expect that DJED will be the main stablecoin on Cardano with the highest market cap. They don't mind competition and actually promote it as it grows the entire eco system making everything that much bigger. This is also Charles Hodgkinson's baby and no doubt he will be pushing for this to be the main stablecoin in their eco system. A few other stablecoins have already launched which is where other communities behind those stables tried to cause some FUD for DJED. 

Coti will be doing their own hardfork in the next few weeks and the only concern they have are Huobi and Kucoin who are the only exchanges who have the native Coti. The team are on their cases making sure there are no delays like we havve seen with other crypto protocols in the past. Huobi are known for taking about 4 weeks to get things done which Coti feels is unacceptable.

They agreed that they made an error in announcing the new Treasury fees and in future this will be bounced off the community getting thoughts and ideas first. This is positive news as it opens up different fee options that were not thought of before giving more choices.

GCoti the governance token was planned for Christmas as that was their initial aim but they are fully focused on making sure DJED is ready for launch and GCoti will now arrive in February. That is a bonus as it gives the likes of myself more time to keep on stacking in the treasury as GCoti is going to boost your individual APR depending on how much you are airdropped. GCOTI will not be influenced by how mnay tokens you have necessarily but more about in which level you are staking ,for how long and if it is locked or not. This cannot be bought and can only be earned via what you do within the Treasury (USA and a few other countries are the exception on this however).

Ledger are busy integrating Coti and both versions will be available (ERC20 and Native). This has been in the works for awhile and at least Ledger say it is imminent and expect that in the New Year.

2023 is going to be a big year for Coti as most of the ground work and development has been done.

The Coti treasury even though it is only 10 months old will have a major revamp as there are so many new things that will be added. A white paper is expected in January explaining and outlining what types of changes to expect and timelines.

Enterprise Tokens plus real projects will come out of the Treasury as that is it's real use case. They are ongoing currently and expect those early next year.

Finally Coti project V2 will be revealed which is all around assisting regulation. Part of this is offering new abilities including regulation tax as this is going to be where Crypto is heading whether we like it or not. Coti is working with the regulators as they are also a bank which gives them the head start ahead of every other project being regulation ready and why Enterprises are working through Coti. This was always obvious and why they are sitting where they are currently at the head of the queue for payment systems in crypto. This is where the real value is going to come when staking Coti.
