Generally tosh.  It would be a ten minute job to add own thought and opinions to the article yet most cannot be arsed.

Just an excuse to post and self-vote and I might have to start downvoting duplicate shared news articles - then posters may at least check first (or not).

Hate them myself . If dlike was gone then it would make curating alot easier.

I only use Dlike if I add some commentary to the story myself.  I think Dlike has a place, they just need to work out some of the issues.  Pintrest has proven that the model I think they are trying to achieve works. 

Like I said, they just need to work out the bugs.  If they ultimately choose to turn a blind eye, then that is another story.  

Spammers are always going to find a way to spam, no matter the platform.  It shouldn't reflect on those of us that are using the platform legitimately.

Sportstalk need to get rid of dlike and also actifit because it just harms the tribe and it's simply not possible to downvote each of these shit posts. A tribe can remove an whole app from the reward pool and I think it would be the best if they would block dlike and actifit. Maybe some of the actifit posts are not shit posts but 95% of them are shit because they are just posting it for the rewards and not for ppl to read it... And they are already getting these actifit tokens for it.

We acknowledge, there are definitely issues that need to be solved as these are just early days and things take time to become perfect.

For duplication issue, we have already worked on this as in DLIKE 3.0 this issue will be solved.

We always welcome suggestions from community to improve things but it does not feel good to mark any project spammy.

I'm new enough around here, but I feel your pain already. Maybe something can be done with the down vote option if nothing else.

Lucky me, I don't have dlike on my feed but I see a bunch of posts while curating sportstalk. I agree with you, no effort at all and I don't upvote copy paste. I work hard to do my posts, I don't see why others can't do the same.

Problem with dlike is zero moderation . There are guidelines which aren't ever adhered to and loads of account farms that never get blocked from [@dlike](https://steemit.com/@dlike) or [@sportstalk](https://steemit.com/@sportstalk) . I have dropped hundreds if not thousands of downvotes in the last few months.
Dlike , like Actifit can be used well and be great tools but it's too easy and just click share and go.
If there is no moderation the spammers and scammers come out to play.

Human nature and lack of community issue as opposed to the platforms themselves.

[@actifit](https://steemit.com/@actifit) does actually respond and deal with abusers. I would suggest now 80% of [@dlike](https://steemit.com/@dlike) posts are farm accounts , perhaps [@tosyne2much](https://steemit.com/@tosyne2much) might like to tell us more ?

[@dlike](https://steemit.com/@dlike) should be about sharing, writing about and creating discussion but the lack of engagement on Steemit in general is getting worse by the day unless you count people working out the best way to use their autovoters.

My [@dlike](https://steemit.com/@dlike) competition proves a point, no one wants to put any effort into being rewarded! 1000s of [@dlike](https://steemit.com/@dlike) posts and no one wants to take part !

The original guidelines for [@dlike](https://steemit.com/@dlike) post is that each post must have a min 50 word article attached and they can post just once a day ..oh, and it must not be something posted already or the user would be blacklisted without warning. It never happened and what you see today is the result .

I give thousands of tokens away each day and no one wants to join in! I leave comments and downvotes on the spammers, no response and [@dlike](https://steemit.com/@dlike) just keep pulling on their curation rewards......

What's to be done mate ? Three of you write proper stuff there, 99% of the rest is utter crap.

PS My cynical self says that both yours and my increase in upvotes are more to do curation rewards than readers and engagement!

I get your point. But when I used it, like @bozz, I add my own thoughts about the article. Of course it's not fun when the same article is posted several times. And of course, when someone just plain right dumps an article, with no added opinion or whatsoever, then is just sad. But don't put all these articles in one corner.
I agree that dLike needs to do something, but to this point, you can just post whatever the guy before you posted, and that is indeed wrong and creates spam.

Glad this post about #dlike and #actifit.
Too many nonsense posts and you can see the issue.

I haven't really taken my time to monitor Dlike posts 

From my little observations, Actfit posts are the problem we have here.. They do not only litter the whole place but also make it difficult to even read good articles

Sure! They surely have a place here but the rate at which these posts are spamming the whole place is going out of hand
