**Today I had a post in my head I was writing and exactly what i was thinking was playing out in the market without even knowing.**

Tapping into a barrel of wine or beer must be just as rewarding along similar lines as what we do in crypto. Being able to zone in and see your growth daily is not something I was experiencing in the last cycle. The journey and time taken to get to this point is what makes this even more rewarding.

The upside potential is the unknown and why it is worth waiting to see what will be revealed in the next 18-24 months. We at least have a time period which we can work on even if it is a slightly rough one for now. We know when the time does eventually arrive the only guarantee is we will have far more stake that what we currently have.

This is all about the potential and why we need to maximise this time period even if it is only a short stretch to the finish line. Some would consider 18-24 months as a long time, but unfortunately I see it as too short because having more time is a luxury.

When I start breaking down my investments I have certain targets I would like to achieve which again highlights how much work still needs to be done. Every single day counts from now until the all time highs and we cannot afford to be wasteful with our efforts.

In an ideal world we would see a sideways movement with crypto prices over the coming 12 months which we know will not happen. The Bitcoin halving is around the corner and we can expect more upside in the coming weeks and months. This will notably see funds move into the alts and another crazy ride up which is all good news if your bags are full.

Currently I am a little short on my VET and VTHO stake which is not great and feeling the pressure of the new tokenomics announcement next week. There is 7 days before that happens and will try and at least achieve one of the two targets before then. Which one will it be I don't know because I expect both of them to rise in value.

As I am writing this article I just checked the VET and VTHO prices and exactly what I expected to happen has happened. VTHO is out performing VET by more than double and this is exactly what I thought might happen.

VTHO is up around 120% on the day and this is still 7 days before the tokenomic announcement. VET is only up 30% and VTHO is doing a 3 x and it is the gas token. This may not seem obvious but I will explain my reasoning here and why VTHO has more potential than VET.

There are 36 million VTHO created daily by the VET holders and when you are talking tokenomics two things will happen and it is all with VTHO and not VET. Increase the burn rate or decrease the daily supply of VTHO which will impact the price directly due to reducing the numbers. VET will generate less VTHO daily if that route is selected, but the burn rate is where my head is on this.

100000 VTHO which is my target and is now more expensive to achieve by more than 3 x today and I am now hoping for a retrace which should happen.
100 000 Vet generates 43 VTHO daily and having 1million VTHO would take longer than 63 years to achieve or longer depending on next weeks tokenomics adjustments.

A blockchain that is going to be widely adopted by millions of businesses daily/weekly over the coming years generates just over $200K daily in fees. Companies spending sub $1 to transact is going to be considered nothing. Walmart crossed the 2 million transactions the other day and this would have only cost around $20k up till now. This is seriously cheap and why I see the number rising and could do an easy 50 x or 100 x or more with a $0.10 target. The upside on VTHO is huge compared to VET because thinking of VET at $5 is unthinkable currently.

I have both VET and VTHO in my portfolio and todays price rises has made it slightly harder to achieve the targets that I have planned. The targets remain with nothing changing except the cost of the investment.
