**I haven't used this image in over 6 months. If you want to be succesful and you are a new account you have to be dedicated and show some effort. Still can't believe many give up without giving it their best shot.**



I have been reading some posts and comments about where your votes go and who you support etc. That is all well and fine, but then the smaller accounts also have to help themselves. They can't just expect a visit and a vote and just hope they grow. I personally like to see some effort and commitment before I just randomly follow an account. I took this on as a personal challenge and was the hardest thing I have ever done.

Unfortunately some effort is required and maybe that word will chase them or most of them away. There are no free meals here and if you are serious about climbing the ladder you have to do some time on the blockchain. This means getting around and reading posts of all types of users and commenting. I look forward to seeing new users commenting on my posts, but it may snow first.

It is not true that you have to invest and buy any Hive (it helps I have heard) but that isn't the case. I never bought 1 cent and have given my time to dedicating to account growth. I see every Hive I earn as one step forward to my final goal. What that is I have no idea, but it is a damn site bigger than what I am now. One should never limit themselves and just go with the flow.

There are so many curation projects running these days that just maybe these new accounts see this as an easy way up. Relying on that type of growth is high risk though as things change. If you don't have a base of users that you follow and support you can't grow on your own. This place is fun if you do it right and engaging with others should be your first priority. 

Growth takes time and if you aren't prepared to do that then the only other way is to invest like most users have. Buy in and grow from there. If I had the funds maybe I would have considered it, but then again where is the fun in what you have accomplished? A steady 6-8 hours daily for over two years does pay off and there are many users doing this method. I don't think there is enough however and those are the ones who give up or complain it is too hard.

Most times in life the best things are the results that you have to grind out. hive is no different and i am happy it isn't easy. If it was so easy everyone would be doing it flooding the exchanges making it worthless. Hive will get harder to earn in the future so I believe staking everything now is the only way to have some value later on. I just wished the newer accounts would just bite the bullet and commit to something that is a personal challenge.
