Excellent idea busy.org no doubt have awesome features that won't even exist in steemit.com like it has steem and sbd price chart it also has great activity tab and fantastic notification system too and now they also providing invite link option, i think one of the greatest advantage of using busy is that we also get free upvotes from busy.org voting bot by using busy as a tag, so no doubt busy is great alternative of steemit with many more cool features, thanks for telling us the benefits of busy.org invite link friend, Stay blessed

I myself mostly use busy.org for steemit activities. I think busy.org is easy to use especially in terms of menu "activity" see my activities and my friends. Moreover recently the busy.org added "notification" which makes it easier for us to control the activity of our steemit account.

Smaller accounts also get to have a slider MUCH EARLIER!  You can see your Voting Power without having to go to steemd.com.  I was reluctant to check out busy as well ... and now I am sorry I didn't see or use it sooner!  

My only wish is that they would come out with a night mode for my viewing pleasures!

I definitely think bringing people over from FB etc. will be far less challenging to enter them in through the busy.org interface.  So, the referrals are a really good incentive to branch out for the win/win/win scenario!

Using the busy tag from buys.org is also helpful for smaller accounts that don't get much visibility in the feed!  I like the o.g. Steemit... but it's hard to argue with usability! Especially, to the FB crowd! hahaha 

Busy is good for voting too regarding people has less than 500 steem powers. As I know, ın oder to use upvote with percent you have to have more then 500 steem powers but you can do it by using busy even you don't have 500 SPs. You can set your voting percent in tab of settings in Busy.

Thanks for this post @cryptoctopus. I also find the Busy.org front end much more attractive and use it to share links across Facebook as well. Strangely, a lot of the important geopolitical videos I upload to DTube have been disappearing from my Content Library. I've uploaded over 50 videos at this point in time, but only 16 are showing in my DTube Content Library. When I click on my account button it states that only 16 videos are there. However, all 50 videos do still show up in my Steemit stream and on my Busy.org page. Now I am thinking of just making a Busy content library page that I can share at my official Clarity of Signal Wordpress site, thus having it act as an attractive video reference library for people looking for important geopolitical and false flag videos that may otherwise be censored by You Tube/Google. 

I think for Steemit to do well in the future and become more accessible and easy to use that the user front page has to become more attractive and easy to use as well. It would be nice if access boxes to other areas of the blockchain were in the currently empty spaces to the left and right if the page. For example, one click on a colorful box could take the user to their DTube or DSounds, etc. It would also be nice if notifications showed up in real time to the right of the front blog page on Steemit as currently it seems like a lot of info can be easily missed by the user. 

I think the value of the Steemit platform would certainly go up and bring on lots of new users with a slight façade adjustment that helps make the platform more attractive and easier to use.

Both Busy and steemit should be developed more with features like the other social media like private messaging and live video. I might try busy as it is really feature-rich site for steeming.

wooow this looks really interesting, Before I tried to sign up for SteemConnect but actually I didnt make it. I did not understnad the whole process yet.
I will give it few hours very soon and check all of that. Thank you for the great info

It's those little bugs on steemit.com that also make me consider switching. It's so annoying to have to keep refreshing your profile page, just to see accurate stats. Everybody has probably had experiences with this bug. 

I do still hope that the Steemit website also gets a major revamp in the future. It doesn't exactly look good to new members.

While the Steemit interface is certainly less than perfect, I actually like the busy.org one less. Primarily because it doesn't let you do basic html and I like to insert links and photos in that manner. And someone else already mentioned night mode :). I like the referral link idea though and it would be nice if steemit did something like that too.
