The decentralized blogging platform, hive.blog came heavy loaded with a lot of monetary features that allows you to earn while you blog. Before I start my explanation, i would like to appreciate @prayzz for his post. I understood everything and this is my own contribution. 

**1.How much do you know about Hive, Hive Power & HBD?**

Just as I was saying, hive came with monetary features that allows you to earn as you blog ..  Now what are these monetary features? 
 
Hive: hive is a liquid currency used in hive.blog. its just like any other crypto currency existing in the world today. 

HBD: which is also known as hive dollar is also a currency used in hive to reward bloggers on hive for their amazing posts and contents. HBD can be transfered, used and converted to real money (sold)

Hive power: hive power is like an influential factor in hive. Hive power is has something called the resource credit and this is used to post, like and comment on hive. 

A user with high hive power will have a greater influence on posts than a user with low hive power. This is in terms of up vote and down vote.

**2.Is there any importance 
 powering up Hive?**

Powering up on hive gives you more hive power and thus, the ability to post anytime without easily running out of resource credit. It also gives you more influential power over posts. 

To be able to enjoy these benefits, powering up on hive is very important.

**3.How many ways are there to acquire Hive Power (HP)?**

There are three ways of acquiring hive power which are 

Through posts
Buying hive and powering up
Through delegation (to be discussed on next post). 

Through posts: when you post, people that like your post will up vote it, thus you earn hive power from the up vote 

Buying hive and powering up:  this is faster and easier, here all you have to do is to purchase hive and power up


**4.Show the process of converting HBD to Hive from Internal Market? (Must show screenshots)**

From your wallet dashboard, click hive and select market from the drop down menu.

From the market dashboard, you will see options to convert Hbd to hive and vise versa, click on buy hive if you are done inputing the amount you want to purchase.

**5.Can you power up your Hive To HP? (Must Show The Process)**

From the wallet dashboard, click hive. From the drop down menu, click on power up.
