Build And Resize Your Images With PIXLR - Video Tutorial

#OriginalSteemContent - I have seen a lot of questions on Steemit about how to use and resize images for Steemit posts. I know that learning imaging software can be daunting, so I thought I'd do a video tutorial, because seeing is doing.

Pixlr is a free image editor, web app, it is a very powerful tool, but also very easy to use. If you are like me and you would love to know Photoshop, but don't have the time, inclination or money to do so, then Pixlr is the perfect tool to use. It is easy, reliable and best of all, completely free, with no signup commitment needed.

By the way; I am not associated or affiliated with Pixlr in any way shape or form, I just want to spread the love!

This is a fantastic idea and i'm sure it will help me but I can't watch the video as I don't have a youtube account.  It requests sign in and I guess won't play without it.

This was helpful, thanks!  I have NO artistic ability or image design skills, but I think I can make something at least serviceable with what I learned from your video.

My takeaways:
* https://pixlr.com/express/ is a free and easy tool for making images for steemit
* it allows you to add and resize images to build up a final image
* save your images to http://imgsafe.org/ for use on steemit

That last point is something I wish I knew before I made my first post here!
I had read that steemit was eventually going to allow us to upload images here directly, and those images were going to be stored at https://ipfs.pics/ so I used that site for the images in my first post.  
**Warning!** If you use https://ipfs.pics/ then your first image WILL NOT show up as your lead image in the post list pages!
I found this out the hard way!  Now in the future, I will use http://imgsafe.org/ to store my steemit images.
