An extremely exciting project at work!

Today I am diverging from my favorite topic cryptocurrencies for good. Because too much of a good thing also spoils you. So I am writing about something different today. Recently, I have been entrusted with the main responsibility of developing a dashboard for one of our main assets. You see, I work for a utilities company and this asset I am talking about is at the heart of any utilities company-Power Transformers. This dashboard is supposed to display live data for various transformers, so that critical transformers at the brink of failure may be averted. Sensors are installed at these asset locations and smart sensors give streaming data about various vital parameters. 

I am extremely excited about his project because it is an opportunity to not only learn something new but also develop something which would leave a long lasting impact on the department and ultimately realize huge cost savings for the company.
