Ripple to help entrepreneurs and startups through Xpring

Ripple has launched a new initiative called Xpring (pronounced Spring) to help new businesses and startups. They intend to help them flourish through the usage of their native digital asset called XRP. Ethan Beard, SVP of Ripple who has led similar such initiatives at Facebok rom 2009-2012 is heading this project. This is exciting new times for new startups as Ripple intends to help these businesses prosper because they think that their digital asset promotes a real life use case.

Ripple has been looking for new use cases for XRP for some time now. Recently they launched Codius, a smart contracts platform for launching decentralized apps, similar to Ethereum.
They have also launched Coil, a new startup building micropayment applications on XRP. Similarly, Xpring is another one in the list of use cases which Ripple intends to promote for XRP.

However, I have a reservation with so many use cases emerging now for XRP. Recently Brad Garlinghouse had spoken about the Peanut Butter analogy for Yahoo! I am afraid Ripple and XRP are going down the similar lane by spreading the peanut butter too thin!
