There's so much going on in the world and so many people seem to not notice or just simply don't care. Millennials seem to be completely consumed by their smartphones. Living vicariously through snapchat stories and facebook posts. People are more concerned with having a popular opinion than speaking the actual truth. It's almost as if I'm living in a world where it only matters to be trendy. AND I'M SICK OF IT. I catch friends and family living as if they are celebrities, posting about everything they do. Believe me, once that mindset is in place, they start spending their money like it too.

Once I started learning about investing my money and how much it can improve your life, I started to see all the waste that takes place around me. I go out to dinner catch myself thinking, "I could have spent that $20 on a winning stock." I see people my age buying cars, clothes, and homes that they can't afford. They are trying to live this rockstar lifestyle that they haven't earned, and it's going to come back and bite them in the ass. But I guess I can't blame them since they've never been taught to do anything with their money but spend it. I try to teach as many as I can how to use their money as a tool and not a burden, but few are willing to listen.

It's as if being an independent thinker is extinct. I talk to people and tell them the latest in what's going on in this messed up world and they either look at me like I'm crazy or as if they couldn't give a shit. I was telling my friend about all of the satanists, pedophiles and rapists in the music industry and in Hollywood and how many stories are coming out about it. I SHIT YOU NOT. He heard what I said and replied, "oh really?" then looked directly away from me towards the twitter feed on his phone. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I'm deeply concerned with my generation. Some of them just act like straight up brainwashed zombies.

Then, on the other hand, I've met a lot of people that are awake (or waking up) to the evil shit in this world. But they seem few and far between. 

Some days I'm filled with hope, and other days filled with deep concern. Though I know most of what I preach is true, I feel like the crazy one because of how people respond. It truly is maddening.  I'm praying to God that he gives us the strength to overcome.

This was a bit of a rant, but I figured I would share with you guys what's going on in my head.
