First of all...

## What the heck is NFTopia?

It's a FREE web3 convention taking place in a virtual world that you can access from a desktop browser, your phone or a VR headset.

It takes place about every quarter and the last one was in July as per @bigtakosensei's [post](https://peakd.com/hive-121212/@bigtakosensei/youre-not-gonna-want-to-miss-nftopia-3-july-28-30-this-ones-gonna-be-special-hive-121212).
It used to be called @dygycon and back then it was sponsored by @splinterlands, hosting mostly Wax projects. Over time it started having more Hive projects as well, thanks to @guiltyparties and @valueplan purchasing a Hive Hall where Hive project could showcase their work. But that's history.

Once Dygycon got pulled during the bear market, Waffleskitty and BreakMan picked up the pieces and founded The NFTopia.

This year it includes mostly Wax projects, but thanks to Crypto Shots, Hive now keeps our flag up with a big booth right at the entrance of the event!

BreakMan has been onboarded to Hive (mostly at the [Rare Evo convention](https://x.com/cryptoshots_nft/status/1697852486474661937?s=20) in Denver), I created for him the @thenftopia and @consumberbreak accounts, and he promised to start blogging soon about The NFTopia and his WEB3 puzzles!

#### DYGYCON/NFTOPIA PRESENCE

- In their last edition @crimsonclad hosted an AMA and I happened to be in the audience so I ended up performing the extremely important task of spamming the event chat with info about Hive 🙂

- In the previous event we showcased for the very first time the PvP version of our game.

- Every other quarter I usually am on stage too ([playlist](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xul_fAg_6P8&list=PLrrOl6ePwVuntqmzsk50B4Q2W64xI8Huk)), but so far mostly during its previous format as Dygycon. I may be on stage again in Q1!
