A bit more than a month ago, we started a rebalancing movement for CTPSB. This meant that we were powering down the account and burning the according number of tokens in circulation. The purpose of this was to give more liquidity to the market maker. When we started the power down, the @ctpsb account owned a total of 33'779 Hive Power. During 3 weeks, we powered down 200 Hive per week. After the power down was finished, there were 33'535 Hive Power on the underlying account of the project. Today, we are at 33'713. This means that within a week, we will have reached the level of stake that we had before the rebalancing started. 

## A good tool to keep the token market liquid
This shows, that a potential rebalancing is just slowing the account growth. However, since the number of tokens in circulation is also reduced in correspondent manner, the token value of CTPSB continues to grow at a similar or even faster rate. This is proven by an average growth of 15.1% APR during the last 3 weeks. Rebalancing is therefore a very good tool to insure enough liquidity for the market maker without slowing down the token growth of CTPSB.
