There are only 4 days left until we see the October Burn Report posted from the @leofinance team. I am interested in seeing how much CUB got burned this month. Current figures put us roughly at 325k so far, so I am anticipating a number above 350k by the end of October. 

That's nearly half of all inflation on CUB this month. Really amazing to see the Multi-Token Bridge going to work on the inflationary numbers.

I think we all have grown concerned the past 18 months since CUB launched about inflation. There is 28,000 CUB minted per day to pay LP Rewards. The CUB DAO is now burning close to 12,000-14,000 per day. 

It's not JUST burning them though... I saw a comment somewhere and this is a key point:

The DAO is **buying and burning the CUB**.. This is a very important distinction.

This is how the team arrived at this "Speculative Escape Velocity" number: where the DAO can buy/burn more CUB per month than is being sold by LPs to create positive long-term price action. 

We've already seen this. CUB is up nearly 25% month-over-month and it doesn't appear to be slowing its pace on this slow grind upwards.

## Focus of the Day

Is it possible to see CUB return to $0.50?

$0.50 was a key support level for us in the past. A lot of things were different back then - namely, the supply has almost doubled since then and we entered a bear market.

That being said, CUB was generating 1/100th of the revenue that it generates each day now with the Multi-Token Bridge.

This is extremely important to remember.

CUB is reaching sustainability. The buyback and burns are currently ~45% of inflation each month. That is freaking crazy.

What happens as this number increases and continues to increase? 

As you'll see in my P/E analysis of CUB below, the bullishness is not unwarranted. CUB's P/E ratio rivals that of Dividend-paying Value Stocks on the TradFi equities market. I am just so bullish on CUB right now, it's impossible to not keep adding to my bag.

## Where I'm Adding CUB

I am adding CUB strategically. I am buying it and putting liquidity into bHBD-CUB and bHIVE-CUB. Those are paying juicy 31-37% APYs right now and I am just cleaning up on compound interest. Earning myself hundreds of CUBs per day. 

These reports are my analysis of the platform but continuing to see this P/E ratio go down (remember, low ratio = good) makes me increasingly bullish on what the team has achieved. 

## P/E Analysis of CUB

Here's a new section I'm trying out. I decided to run a P/E analysis of CUB using data from each Monthly Burn Report posted by @leofinance. Check out the first analysis I ran and leave a comment below with your thoughts.

Keep in mind that a low P/E ratio is good. It means that the revenue that CUB is generating each month is increasing faster than the CUB price is increasing (more revenues earned per share of CUB).

## CUB Burns

It's official, more than 1.3M CUB has been burned so far!

This is astonishing. Prior to MTB launch in August, we had 500k CUB burned. Now we're nearly triple that in less than 2.5 months!
