Looking forward the future of cryptocurrency

As early as today, you should feel proud of yourself that you have made it here on the Hive platform. I've been browsing posts about cryptocurrency and many of the articles that I read point to the direction that cryptocurrencies will play an important role in our lives in the future. I'm optimistic about the future of crypto and it seems that we may not need to wait for a few decades before we see the fruit of the risks that we took when we took part in this venture. Some articles that I read suggest that the global cryptocurrency market will triple in 2030.

Isn't that music to the ears? I would say that it is but it comes with a few hiccups here and there until we find a way to balance the pros and cons of it along the way. No matter how people restrict themselves to take part in this change, it is inevitable.

Even central entities are replicating the "DeFi-like" experience by offering depositors a 4% - 6% dividend earnings by simply depositing your Fiat to their system. It sounds good but the return that is being promised is still lower than what I could get by depositing my money to the real blockchain-based De-Fi applications. And the best part of it is that I could sleep well at night knowing that my investment is safe from centralization (or control by a central entity).

It will only take a few more years before mass adoption and accessibility will be realized and that's going to spark the dominance of cryptocurrencies. I'm just excited by the future where crypto will become widely accepted in many aspects of our finance. Just imagine going to grocery stores and *(with enough investments)* paying for the items that you bought using your earnings from posting here on the Hive platform.

I think that will be the day when we will all appreciate the choice we made when we joined the platform.

Crypto has come to stay, only countries with bad leaders still ban it. Like my country, I just hope they realize the importance on time before we are left behind.
