Bitcoin atm usage
I was always curious, how the Bitcoin ATMs working.

As we also have in Hungary, but it operated with high margin, we decided to go to Vienna, to test how we can get out cash, from a Bitcoin ATM. We found a great place which is in Hotel Schani

The atm located on the ground floor at the restaurant. It is really good, because while you waiting, you can have a coffee, or a breakfast. We get the all inclusive breakfast which 12€ per person.

The question was for me, how they handle intelligently the waiting time!

You need to initiate the transaction, and the ATM print out a paper with QR code, which help to send the amount:

While you make the transaction you can give your mobile phone number, and you will get two SMS. First when they see the incoming amount for the cash out, second when you can get out the money.

This is really a smart way, how you can solve the waiting with the ATM.

The transaction took around 15 minutes, but with the breakfast it was no problem.

The parking is around 200m from the hotel, so stopping with car is not an issue.

I could recommend this place to all who want to cash out BTC, or litecoin

I would be curious on others experience, with these transactions.

The machine in Canada I used just gave me cash immediately when I scanned the qr code. It was litecoin though not sure how the wait works for btc
