Latina Twins from East LA exploring and creating award-winning technology from local to international competitions. We do this to make our communities safer with mobile, wearable tech and virtual reality.

America and I dared to apply for M.I.T Digital Initiative to Intro to Cryptocurrencies Bootcamp for Underrepresented Minorities and Women. After further research about Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain, our minds went haywired. 

America told me that a friend of ours, Daniel, is a blockchain enthusiast.  So we called him up. At midnight.  What?  He is a night owl. Then, we shared new things we learned from our phone interviews with the M.I.T DCI bootcamp.  The instructors for the M.I.T DCI cryptocurrency/blockchain bootcamp hail from Blockchain University. Daniel shared that he is part of a community known as Steemit and that we should share our experiences here when we get accepted.

What! A social media platform that distributes cryptocurrencies on the blockchain!  Of course, sign us up! 

We have heard of the internet of things(smart cities), the internet of thoughts(artificial intelligence) but we have never heard of internet of values(cryptocurriences) before.
