오늘 식사 장소는? 모구모구에요!

오늘은 늘 감사하게 저희를 아껴주시는 분과 저녁을 먹었습니다.
주로 한식이나 부페를 갔었는데, 오늘의 식사 장소는 이번주 테이스팀 주제를 반영한 일본식당이었습니다. 식사의 방향을 정해주는 테이스팀!

장소는 모구모구식당(강릉)입니다.

네비게이션 언니와 함께 갔는데도 식당 찾기는 쉽지 않았어요. 언니만 믿으면 식당 뒷길로 안내하거든요.  식당은 올림픽 선수촌 아파트가 있는 곳, 원주대학교 치과대학병원 근처에 있습니다. 도로변에 있지만 들어가는 입구가 평면이고 옆 가게가 빨래방이라 쉽게 눈에 띄지 않았어요.

문을 열고 들어가면서 찰나에 느낀 첫 느낌은, 가게가 좁은 것이 좁지 않게 보이는 것이, 썰렁한 것 같은데 따스한 것이 좀 이중적인 느낌이 저는 있었습니다.

메뉴도 훅하고 눈에 들어오지 않았고 글자가 작고 무엇보다 익숙하지 않은 일본식이라 낯설음도 있었어요.

그러나, 일하시는 분들의 응대에 분위기는 반전됩니다. 궁금해하며 내뱉는 혼잣말에도 곁에 다가와 답을 해주시고 하셨거든요. 많이 칭찬해드립니다. 어른을 모시고 갔는데 식전에 기분좋음을 안겨주셔서 감사했습니다.

우리가 시킨 메뉴는 세 가지입니다.

고기 두툼과 부드러움, 소스 맛남, 밥알 고슬고슬 간이 맛남, 부담스럽지 않은 밥의 양입니다.

연어 부드러움, 맛남, 식사 한 그릇을 다 하지 않는 분이신데 한 그릇 싹 비움

연어 맛남, 뱃살과 차이를 나는 크게 느끼지 못하겠음, 맛 평가자 미식가 아님, 그냥 삽시간에 한 그릇 비움

>새우튀김 2조각 4,000원

집에서 엄마가 빵가루 묻혀 만들어주신 새우튀김, 일식집에 노르스름한 아삭아삭한 튀김 아님, 엄마맛, 비만새우임, 꼬리까지 먹는데 한 네 번 정도 나뉨, 비만새우임을 강조하고싶음.

음식 한 세트씩 정갈히 담아주십니다. 일본임을 나타내는 세 조각의 고추절임, 단무지 대여섯개입니다. 

>일본은 (반찬을)왜 이렇게 주는 지 모르겠어? 

그냥 자연스럽게 말씀하셨습니다.그리고 우리도 공감했습니다. 그러나 맛나게 먹었습니다. 배가 많이 부르지 않는 적당함이 좋았습니다.

마지막 남은 비만새우튀김은 제가 먹었습니다. 
역시 맛있었습니다.
소스가 비만새우를 더 살렸습니다. 
예를 들면 77 사이즈의 새우를 88사이즈로 올려주는 느낌이라고 할까요.

날씨가 정말 많이 춥습니다.
내일은 영하 17도라며 서베리아라고 합니다.
모두들 장갑 꼭 끼고 목도리 두툼하게 하셔서 한파가 침입하지 못 하도록 대응전략을 잘 세우시기를요. 건강하세요.
