**A little visit to this castle allowed me to glean some photo.
The castle of Vogüé is located in Ardeche a French department between the center and the south of France. The Ardeche is a beautiful region where the displacement can be painful for this very valiant side. Have gone up and down permanently it takes an hour by car to cover 20 km. The roads are mountainous and therefore not very wide. Imagine when you passed a car.
This department is rather deserted in winter and very touristy in summer.
At one time the economy was very flourishing there with the exploitation of silver mines which however generated the pollution of certain soil and water.**

**You can notice that this castle was built with carved stone and other ovaloid. The stone is limestone and granite.**

**This castle does not have a coating which protects it, which suggests that the stone is not frost**

**It has surely been modified over time because this type of building was there to ensure the protection of the inhabitants against any type of attack or invader.**

**The Château de Vogüé, located on the banks of the Ardèche river, dominates one of the most beautiful villages in France, classified as a village of character. It is still owned today by one of the great families that marked the history of Vivarais, that of the Marquis de Vogüé.**

**The castle has vestiges of its construction from the 13th and 15th centuries. But it was in the 17th century that it took on its final appearance.**

**The visit will take you through the history of this building and of the Vogüé family, to discover its interiors such as the dungeon, the chapel or the Salle des Etats de Vivarais.**

**From the hanging garden known as the Marquise Garden, an enchanting place, you will have a splendid view of the village and the Ardèche mountains.**

**Past the entrance vault, we discover an interior courtyard, from which we access the various rooms on the ground floor, as well as the grand staircase and its 17th century door.
