While the West rushes in saying that these areas remain in the hands of Ukraine on the battlefield a closer look reveals that the latest hyped offensive of Ukraine only now puts them on the border with Luhansk. Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia have never been fully controlled by Russia, yet militias that get paid for territory taken are in the area winning Ukrainian countryside meter by meter.
Spirits are high in Moscow after Putin’s spectacle signing with evening concert in Red Square. He actually sang standing in front of red, white, and blue flags (like the 2014 Winter Olympics). Marvelous as Putin allowed the tone and pitch of his speech to match the emotion of the audience in the festival atmosphere. He embodies the unification of Church and State. They’re on the verge of a victory using low yield tactical nukes.
As he laid out in his speech, America set a precedent for using nuclear weapons to win wars. As the entire world remembers WWII hostilities screeching to a halt after 2 nuclear bombs were used in Japan. Putin’s speech might even be reaching out to the Japanese in an effort to build relations.
Russia aims to end the war in Ukraine using a nuclear weapon to signify its dominance on par with America. With the spoils of 4 new Republics, he can claim to have achieved the goal of the special military operation. With peace the energy map can be redrawn with the help of the destruction of the Nord Stream pipeline.
Careful examiners of this blog - like myself - might begin to feel as if our readership extends to the Kremlin on this public profile. The pipeline the new 9/11. We’re waiting on the forensics. Meanwhile, the West could soon be faced with some very difficult circumstances. The use of a nuke in Ukraine takes away the might of being the only power to yield the weapon in history, then the armies of the West would need to escalate the war through direct involvement playing into the hands of Russian propaganda of being the true aggressors, or the West would push for peace telling Ukraine to sign off on losing part of its country in exchange for a new Cold War.
Either direction has an impact on the long-term morale of the West depending on its conviction to transitioning to alternative energy and the possibility for technology to fill the gaps. Meaning if the West can truly create new technology that’s environmentally friendly can scale to large populations and create economic incentive. If so, then the West can survive into the future despite the bad decision that has to be made to create peace with Russia.
All out nuclear war also solves climate change by eliminating the populations of the Northern Hemisphere through a nuclear winter that cools the Earth’s surface allowing humans on the Equator and in the Southern Hemisphere to become the new leaders of civilization in the face of heavy casualties yet able to sustain technological advances of the world where it stands today.
However, if the status quo is maintained with peace and new technology cannot be developed to make the human race independent of fossil fuel then the West will lose eventually to the autocratic empires of the pan Russian-Chinese alliance. Because the West develops too fast and depletes its resources looking for new markets and the last untapped new market to be developed is on the Russian and Chinese border where they’re going to declare independence from the West. Using their old-world style they can continue for a longer time, yet might lose the opportunity for space exploration with the species fate to die out on this rock and erased by the sands of time.
