<h3>A trillion wrists 
that write the ancient name
___________________________</h3>

Within a luminary somewhat shattered
still rolls the power—courses still the rays
from source ineffable descending ladders
of fission to the metacarpal blaze:
so journeys the unbound through boundless days.

Down radius and ulna, double-helical —
down twisting lanes of bone and sinew'd plain
still ventures supernature through the skeletal
vacationing 'fore turning to the main
and taking up its throne ever again.

Impulse becomes nervine impetus;
impetus turns shadow-tendril'd word;
word becomes the sanguinary succubus
to siphon every whisper ever heard
into the funnel'd gaffe of poetry.

Poetry becomes the stilted symmetry
dictated — architected by the wrist.
Half-broken slats of granite, synergy
of detritus — from near-forgotten list
of psychic quarry's wasted invent'ry.

So build, you gruesome star — you awesome hand;
so crane into the limitless expanse
with creak'd phalanges scavenging the sand
of dust-strewn universe to slow compile:
yes, slow compress into composite ores
a palace for the humble logophile
to dwell in — dream beside the cosmic shores.

Until eternity takes every book,
each story, and each limb who so conveyed
their angst and joy, soft-lowly tucked away
in every leather-smelling, hidden nook
and casts them in the violet-surging flame
of the unuttered, nameless, ancient name.

Write his name!! Why limit them to 7,000 or 100,000? Why not a trillion write his name? It's beautiful.

Today your artwork is singing and glorifying the ancient One. The hybrids demonstrate the touch of the creators hand as alive as the trees that give us oxygen and so much more. There is a lot in this world we do not see with our eyes. Perhaps we are not ready for the glory.

Just reading the poem without thinking too much takes me to a world of rhyme and syllabic preciousness. I just want to get lost in the feel of the sounds, but I have to think about the words you chose. 

One stanza in this poem made me shudder. It was the stanza about how the word travels from an "impulse" to a "funnel'd gaffe of poetry". Your use of words for the middle man spooked me at first.

I always pictured poetry coming from the gods through the muses in beautiful form but here it looks like a demon slut stole it and spit out on the mortal. It's a little crude but it's true. Who are we to say that we know anything? Compared to the ancient one we are just dust. 

I'd like to believe having the word is everything we can have in this world.
