<div class="text-justify">I have been building an aetherical engine by the manuscript of this ancient fragment of ever-papyrus I acquired some time ago from a wandering merch. I do not know with total certainty where the merchant had gotten it, though due to many technical energy science indicators which are too time-consuming (and boring for most) to mention here ascertained by yours truly — I have significant reason to expect that he likely scalped it from some ruins in the great grooves of the Talon Rings, known to most of Vek as "The Slasherz." I have been quite grateful that I was voracious as a student of early Vekkian scryptology in my earlier years, as I have had to decipher what is meant by those bizarre and highly intricate symbols so different from the bastardized, modern Vekq with which we are all so familiar.<br><br>
The engine itself is a marvel of magical engineering, using components in extremely innovative ways to achieve what I can only refer to as a nohonic polarity reversal of the unified energy field, such that aetheric microtubules of hyperdense information begin to insinuate themselves into existence at the nucleus of the mechanism — in what I imagine shall be a gloriously writhing plasmic mass of raw, living Ideas attracted to the local singularity point from other time and place, enriching the submicroscopic genetic code of Vek by ripple effect, and opening mysterious doors to even more possibilities than I can currently fathom (and I must say my capacity for imagination is rather expansive.)<br><br>
Though I derived the concept for this extremely advanced machine from the blueprints scrawled by some brilliant long-gone ancestor, I must with some pride confess that a few of the flashier additions were inventions of my own. Of course, I have created detailed schematics in modern Vekq scrypt to document these along with the operations described in the ancient ever-papyrus. This day, I hope to at long last complete the final few delicate operations necessary to bring my engine to life. I will not bore you with an extended monologue explaining the difficulty I had acquiring some of the rarest ingredients I needed for raw materials to be magically extracted, but I will at least list some of them here so you may get a sense of the pains I undertook to arrive at this precipice of magimechanical achievement:<br><br></div>

**Værn Heartgold** [ectstatic-pink-tint expressing]
**Vyvmsq Whitecrab Grubs** (live, in cryostasis hex-tubules)
**Vyvmsq Transparent Moonflower Pollen** [de-statisized] 
**Questrel Talons** {magically fossilized in purple heartsilver}
Etc., etc.*

<div class="text-justify">Any single one of the above ingredients might cost your typical collector a lifetime of trouble (not to mention credits) to acquire them. Thankfully however, I am well-acquainted with the Vekkian underworld and its shadowmarkets, and I am privileged enough to not be much affected by the price. Moreover, I am well-networked amongst artisans of many a sort.<br><br>
Along with these rarities there were scores of other, much more mundane materials required, such as high-quality snow-rubber for gaskets, ordinary roughiron for rivets, pelical sand for glassblowing, and the like. I also hired scores of artisans, workers, and mages in various fields of specialty to bolster my own knowledge and perform the operations I could not without lengthy training. During this project, which has spanned nearly a half-xodule,  I interviewed many of my own workers for a closer understanding of modern construction practices, and sought to disentangle their dissimilarities with the ancient approach whose essence I was emulating so that I might arrive at a somewhat balanced modus operandi.<br><br>
Though forgive me... I do ramble on, as I slightly procrastinate leaving my mynd-tablet to begin this momentous day’s work. I suppose it is my way of distracting myself from what I must confess is a gradually mounting internal turmoil. Ridiculous, of course… I have studied and re-studied the final operations to the point that I could practically perform them in my sleep. It is no arrogant statement nor exaggeration to say that there is not a single person upon Vek more qualified than I to undertake the finishing touches this day. Still, though, the consequences of even a single slight error… I shudder to think upon it! Anything from the ruination of all these rare components to the complete and utter destruction of all living things upon the planet might occur.<br><br>
At moments like these I am hyperaware of the blessing-curse of an active mind. Enough! I have dedicated myself to become the perfect man through my machine — a mage not of mind alone but of action — a force to be reckoned with! Soon I will bring forth from abstruse dimensions a myriad of living intelligences to populate the cave-warehouse my machine is housed in, and beyond that, all the cave-tunnels that course beneath the surface of Vek! We shall enter, finally, a Novel Era — distinct from the placid mechanistic churning of vekkestrial genetic code that has driven our planet into a dark age of stagnation and mediocrity for too long.<br><br>
Yes, though I am no egomaniac — before long, all of our great planet shall know my name: Basiliuœus Shrimfæm, resurrector and part-inventor of the Microtubule Machine!</div>
