<h1> Change Your Attitude, Change Your Reality</h1>

Every moment is fully unique. Let's take a brief moment to appreciate the surprising and wonderful combinations of scenarios and sensations that occur in life. That may mean we need to expend some effort in order to "pull ourselves" out of the perception that earthly life is *boring, monotonous, and hellish*. Or perhaps all that is required is to relax and experience the subtle feeling that is just below the surface of awareness, the calmness and peace that is available at all times yet can appear so fleeting due to layer upon layer of disturbing thought mechanisms that cloud that pristine joy. 

Indeed, every facet of our reality can be said to be of a paradoxical nature (when perceived from the level of duality), which is why in order to achieve any great end, there is the odd necessity of both great effort and great relaxation. To remain at balance we must obtain precision and clarity of focus, while also practicing the vast calmness that comes when one is engulfed into the shining void of perfect stillness. We become nourished by the aetheric rivulets of subtle currents that are everpresent  in the cosmos yet impossible to fully detect externally.

In fact we come to realize that life is not a grind, nor a drudgery, nor a torturous chore. Instead, these are the failed perceptions of infinity, and they exist to produce the psychic pain that is necessary to induce us to **change our attitude towards life**. They are the counterpart of physical pain (which instructs us how to maintain the body instrument.) Mental, emotional, and spiritual pain also instruct us how to maintain our higher faculties at full function. Therefore we return to gratitude for the vicissitudes of life in order to affirm that there is a greater context in which suffering is beauty itself, however obscure this realization may be in our present awareness.

Today, right now in this moment, let us take a pause and allow a deeper awareness to soak into the core of our being. Let us cultivate a powerful focus that begins to increase the mindful energy that we bring to each situation. Let us allow life to become more real, more genuine; It can be fuller and more satisfying than we have been led to believe. Let us both passively and actively transform our attitude towards life and thereby change our personal reality. 

In review:

* A calm feeling is available underneath seeming chaos.
* This calm feeling can be called pristine joy; it is the fundament of all other emotions.
* Growth requires a mixture of effort and relaxation.
* Our limited perceptions do not represent reality.
* Painful perceptions motivate us to move beyond them into something greater.
* Painful feelings motivate us to remove dysfunctional beliefs and to allow healing to occur.
* Suffering is beautiful when seen from a larger context.
* Through both active and passive means we can transform our attitude towards life.
* When we change our attitude, we change our reality.
