I was feeling awesome when Splinterlands was expanding team into 100s of devs, artists etc. So I'm not feeling all that fun seeing 45% of them go. I know they weren't hired to do some BS job. They were doing good stuff for game. It's just things became tough with bear market. I'm pretty sure @aggroed is just being proactive in downsizing. All those presales & sales should have filled the coffers with millions!

Basically.... we won'[t be getting those new announcements on new cool things. That's a good call. __There's a thing called diminishing returns.__

Yeah.... most people won't expect these results. Splinterlands will be the same. 80% of the value comes from 20% of the work. Decision makers are smart enough to figure out what's brining most value to Splinterlands economy. 

We may loose 45% of workforce building Splinterlands. But we'd probably get at least 75% of the work done. Best part is we'd have more staying power in bear market while other Dapps fail by running out of money to fund development. 

Being cautious can help in turbulent times. As an investor I think this was the best course of action! My faith isn't lowered in game. Actually I'm more confident we can do really really well this bear market. Just look at all the cool stuff coming 2023. All the work that went to Land will be paying off.

Totally not impressive here either. But what matter is sticking around. I'm not selling these NFTs. I might sell some of crypto. But not NFTs. I'd rather rent them. Who knows what use there will be with new game modes. There's even entirely new games coming :)

We've got ourselves beat by this Aline Worlds game. But we're still 2nd among every Dapp in existence. That's really cool. That's why I believe Splinterlands is so underrated. We DESERVE to be on Binance, KuCoin & other top exchanges!
