Suspicious Observers

-Ben reports the sun is quiet with no solar flares and that solar cycle 24 is much weaker than solar cycle 23
-there is an earth facing coronal hole just south of the equator and while it will be a couple of more days until the increased(speed) solar winds hits Earth there is already a strong earth-sun magnetic connection
-a [paper](https://arxiv.org/ftp/arxiv/papers/1805/1805.04115.pdf) arguing that the classification of planets and asteroids should not be dependent upon a vote but on chemical analysis

**WHAT DOES IT MEAN?**

*With solar cycle 24 being much weaker than solar cycle 23 and projections by solar physicists indicate that solar cycle 25 will be much the same as the present one or even quieter portends cold times ahead. ! This graph represent the magnetic phase variance and as the variance gets further apart the weather will get colder and more extreme. Take note where we are time wise on the graph and how in the coming year the phase variance expands by four times, if correct this could indicate the weather in the coming year getting four times worse as in colder, more snow and more extreme weather events such as storms and hail. The Oppenheimer ranch Project

-Diamond reports on a new fissure opening up, fissure 18 and the possibility of pressure building up due to the explosions being heard and increasing earthquake activity happening in the area.
-historic flooding due to melting snow in B.C. and other areas
-heavy snowfall in central France from 12-50cm in mid May
-Finland braces for the worst flooding in 20 years due to snow melting
-worldwide uptick in moderate earthquakes
-close encounter with an asteroid the size of a football field passing between the Earth and the moon at 30000m/hr

**WHAT DOES IT MEAN?**

*As mentioned in my last report, Mt Kilauea is ramping up to be the volcanic event of the century. Mt Merapi, while not the explosive event that Mt Kilauea has the potential to be, is still spewing ash, dust and particulates several kilometers into the atmosphere where it can increase the albedo effect further exacerbating global cooling.  If Mt Kilauea explodes and if the force of the explosions follows the fissure line which is perpendicular to the Hilina Slump's two feet of movement, then there is the threat of 5000 cubic miles of land dropping into the ocean producing a mega-tsunami that could strike the west coast of the US. As Diamond would say that would be a MEGA-BOOM! Not to make light of the potential threat to life.
Diamond also reports an uptick in moderate earthquakes and this could very well be due to the magnetic connections between the earth and the sun Ben talked about in his video.  Though it should be noted that increase in earthquakes is typical during grand solar minimums.*

Ice Age Farmer

-Christian reports on the vanilla bean situation and how recent extreme weather in Myanmar where 70% of vanilla beans is grown has suffered catastrophic crop losses pushing the price of this food commodity to be worth more than silver
-wine production in France at a 60 year low due to freezing cold this spring causing much damage to the crop and the vines themselves
-global grain stocks to fall in 2018-19 as every grain growing region has suffered catastrophic losses in production and quality 
-expect huge increases at the grocery store as increased costs due to shortages get passed down to the consumer
-Christian also discusses "antifragility" and what it means and how one needs to get their minds around such a concept.

**WHAT DOES IT MEAN?**

*There is a difference between surviving the global cooling and thriving during global cooling. I tell people as often as I can to be stockpiling food, but the reality is that is just the barest of minimums that one should be doing. One should also start growing their own food as much as possible, learn to forage, build water filters, permaculture, etc. and more importantly, above all other considerations, one should be preparing themselves mentally and emotionally. By this I do not mean that one should get tough mentally, but that one should find joy in their circumstances regardless of the tough times they may be facing. It is a state of flexibility that not only allows you to roll with the punches but to learn and prosper from every punch.*
