When NASA scientist Tom Tucker tried to recreate the experiment using the same material used to make the kite, he was unable to fly the object. This could mean that the stories behind what we know about lightning and electricity in the sky today are just like their myths, like the idea that lightning does not strike more than once in the same place.</p> <p>"Maybe" is the key word.
