###### If there is one thing about #coronavirus, its that it is helping a lot of people break some old habits. Whether that be going to the bar every night or in my case, eating out every single meal.

# Dough to blow 💸

I am blessed enough to have an income that allows me to eat at restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. That is when, those places are actually open for business. Ever since #covid-19 has been a thing in USA, I have been forced to alter my habits.

I moved into a new apartment this past October. Since I am living here solo and have many different tasks that I wish to accomplish daily, I decided that cooking took up too much of my time. That or is it that I found a reason to be lazy, who knows.

Supporting local businesses by eating at them daily is a good thing for the flow of economy. However for me it is both more expensive and less healthful than preparing my own meals. There has been times when I used to cook all of my own food, but it just hasn't been like that through 2020 so far.

Due to the sudden change of society, I now have no other choice but to eat at home or go hungry. Unless I wish to eat fast food for every meal, no thanks on that one 🤮

I am easily pleased when it comes to food, especially if that also means that the preparation process is simple for me. In comes one of my favorite meals, steak & eggs. I live less than half a mile from my butcher where I purchased duck eggs and a few sirloin steaks recently. I can run over there and get fresh meat daily if I choose to do so, quite convenient indeed. There is also the fact that I receive a weekly delivery of #rawgoatmilk. I am set when it comes to eating locally produced products.

I have an amazing kitchen to do all of my cooking. A brand new stove was included with my apartment and I have a [Cook's Companion Indoor Cooking Station](https://www.shophq.com/Product/464-182) to use too. There is no excuse to not at least cook sometimes. Once things are back to normal, it doesn't have to continue to be every single meal.

Great question. 

Duck eggs are slightly larger and have a thicker shell/yolk. 
They taste just like a regular chicken egg.

That's interesting.  I would have guessed they would taste different considering their meat tastes wildly different than chicken.

Ha, looking good, Can't go wrong with Steak and Eggs... We're starting on the freezer stuff and pulling out meats and pies we've had in there for a few months, first. It's hitting everyone and disrupting the normalcy on us all.  We used to order Pizza every Monday, now we are making our own - haven't done that in eons.
