# PeakD continues to evolve 💻🤩

My favorite UI for Hive is https://peakd.com/. I've been using it for years and it has done nothing but get better every single month. 

There have been many times that I thought of a cool new feature and recommended it in the #peakd-suggestions section on [their Discord server](https://discord.gg/wTknkf3ZhA). Nearly every single time @asgarth has replied back to me and almost instantly got to work executing these ideas. I'm always mind-blown by how quickly he works while also keeping up with all of the stuff being talked about on Discord. This dude has got some serious skill and passion for Hive, we are lucky to have him.

I came up with numerous ideas recently and hoped that PeakD would be able to implement at least some of them. I took the time to design some graphics to explain what I had in mind and next thing you know they became a reality. It was much less than 24 hours before @asgarth pinged me and had made most of the ideas come to life.

Let's talk briefly about these ideas of mine...

### 1. Folders for templates

I have at least a dozen templates and I often find myself scrolling way too long to find the one that I aim to use. Little did I know there was already a label feature for templates. I hadn't ever noticed it before and it turns out it was actually broken at the time of me asking for folders. It's already been fixed and this is pretty much exactly what I was asking for with the folders idea.

### 2. Bulk edit Portfolio

This one is the most complex of the bunch and hasn't happened yet, but I have a feeling will be a thing eventually. I want a way to add and remove posts from my Portfolio section more easily. As of right now, you have to edit each post individually and it takes forever.

### 3. Quicker access to Wallet

This just made so much sense to me. The wallet was buried in the menu and I felt should be one click away at all times. That's now the case as you will see a new wallet icon on your profile page near the edit profile button. On mobile, you can do the same by clicking the ... symbol next to settings on the profile screen.

### 4. Larger search bar on mobile

Another thing that I felt to just be a little inconvenient was the search function on mobile specifically. The desktop view has the giant search bar up on the top at all times, which works great. On mobile though, search was in the explore tab and was not easy to find. I think it still belongs in the explore area, but I believe that it should be a much more visible search bar. Now it will be much easier to search for posts when on your mobile device.

I am very pleased with these changes and I think that the rest of the community will agree with me on that. If you ever have ideas for PeakD features, then I highly recommend you share them with the devs on Discord. You never know, they might think it's a good idea and add it to PeakD so we can all enjoy it.

# That's not all 🥳

I'm not the only one with ideas for PeakD. I saw somebody else mention that scheduled posts needed to show the date instead of "Posts in 5 days". So if you are like me and like to get a few weeks' worth of posts scheduled when heading out of town for a vacation, then you will love this update that is live now, not just on the beta site. 

On top of the above feature, we also have AI Prompts now. This is something that I think could be huge, but it is still in its early stages. I highly recommend going to https://beta.peakd.com/ to test it out. Just go to a post and you will see a new AI Tools option underneath the amount of time to read and the total number of words in that blog at the very top right of the post.

# PeakD is king in my book 👑 

We all have our preferred interface for Hive, but for me, it's definitely PeakD. I'm just so used to it and it does literally everything I need very well. The cherry on top is that the devs are just so good about listening to feedback and making changes in a timely fashion.
