Ever since the Hardfork 21/22 and the 50/50 split authors/curators, the curation rewards have been an interesting subject. Users with SP stake can now earn some more stake just [for hitting the like button](https://steemit.com/curation/@dalz/people-literally-get-paid-to-hit-a-like-button-around-here) 😊.

I have made a short manual analysis on overall curation reward in the post [here](https://steemit.com/curation/@dalz/curation-rewards-analysis-or-stake-and-efficiency-dependencies). There I have looked at CR (Curation Rewards) dependency between the amount of SP and voting efficiency. The conclusion basically was that CR are depended only on your voting efficiency. 

We can say that the curation rewards are now acting a bit like the bid bods before. They are providing some passive income for the stakeholders, only for using it to vote. If you don’t want to bother with voting, you can delegate to some curation projects like @ocd, @curangel and receive some curation rewards for that. 

# How did I do with my curation rewards in 2019?

Here are few charts on my performance in terms of curation rewards.

### The Daily Chart:

**First a note that this are not numbers for the same SP stake. I started with around 2k SP at the beginning of the year and ended with around 5K SP.**

The daily curation rewards up until the hardfork in September were around 0.25 SP per day. After the Hardfork I have seen increase in my SP and reached around 1 SP per day, and at the end of the year I have made 2 SP per day. Note that I have increases my SP in the last month from around 3.5k to more than 5k SP.

All in all, a run from 0.25 to 2 STEEM per day in curation rewards. That is 8 times increase in CR although my stake increase for around 2.5. 

### The Monthly Chart:

This chart is following the daily one, and I have reached a 40 SP per month in curation reward at the end of the year. Up until the hardfork the CR were insignificant and around 10 SP per month. 

I’m still trying to increase my CR and reach more than 60 SP per month, with increased voting efficiency but also with larger stake.

**Almost 200 STEEM in curation rewards in 2019** 

The second part of the year consist the larger share of this rewards. 
If I manage to increase my SP stake and my CR to above 60 SP per month, I can see more than 700 SP per year in CR rewards. If I buy some more SP, and reach let’s say 10k SP I would for sure have more than 1k in CR. Now that’s not a game changer but still 1K SP in CR rewards is not bad at all. I remember when staring here 1 STEEM was precious.
