Corre. Una película de suspenso psicológico que te lleva  por  las veredas oscuras del amor. Cuando creemos que el amor es poder, dominio, control el resultado puede dar para una historia que estremece. “Corre”, es una de ellas.<br></br>

Aneesh Chaganty, guionista y Natalie Qasabian,  productora,  luego de haber trabajado juntos en Searching,(2018) se unen a Sev Ohanian  para la creación de  una nueva entrega. El resultado, la película “Corre”, que fue estrenada a finales del 2020 y protagonizada por Sarah Paulson (Diane) y Kiera Allen (Chloe).<br></br>

Sara Paulson, quien se ha destacado por personalizar lo perverso, en esta presentación, no se queda corta.  La joven Kiera Allen estrenándose como actriz de la gran pantalla está  excelente en su actuación.<br></br>

En la película Diana y Chloe entablan una lucha dispareja que va creciendo en reto y suspenso, donde parece imposible que alguien gane.  Por un lado Diane tiene la sagacidad, el plan  y la maldad suficiente para no permitir el avance de Chloe. Chloe,   por su parte es tan inteligente como su madre, de pensamiento rápido y con una fuerza de voluntad inquebrantable.<br></br>

La trama transcurre, prácticamente,  dentro del hogar lo que  transmite un poco de claustrofobia y una sensación de imposibilidad por la acción controladora de Diane. Las tres escenas del exterior son contundentes cada una marca un giro y aumenta el suspenso.<br></br> 

>The plot takes place, practically, inside the home which conveys a bit of claustrophobia and a sense of impossibility due to Diane's controlling action. The three exterior scenes are compelling, each one marks a twist and adds to the suspense. 

Yo diría que hay poco diálogo. “Este detalle”  no le resta a la película, al contrario, le suma ya que la imagen, lo visual es quien narra toda la historia, una técnica, que me pareció excelentemente manejada.<br></br>

>I would argue that there is little dialogue. "This detail does not detract from the film, on the contrary, it adds to it, as it is the image, the visual, that tells the whole story, a technique, which I found excellently handled.

Entonces, tenemos una cinta con una serie de “pocos”: pocos personajes, pocos diálogos y pocas escenas exteriores. A cambio encontramos unos personajes con  perfiles muy bien definidos  cuyas  actuaciones  transmiten, lo que las hace excelentes y una narrativa visual que no es complemento sino protagonista lo que la hace dueña de la trama y no lleva por donde quiere.<br></br>

El final. Los cierres siempre son difíciles y exigentes, en el caso de “Corre” digamos que resultó un tanto  predecible, sin embargo, su toque irónico se convierte en la frase,  no dicha, para la reflexión.<br></br>

La vi hace unos días y la verdad puedo decir que tiene momentos muy intensos pero que se van perdiendo ya al final.

En mi video reseña, hable sobre la actuación de **Sarah Paulson** que de verdad le da ese toque oscuro que realmente hace a esta película interesante.
