Estilo de vida es un concepto muy amplio que define a una persona en su modo de ser, estar, hacer y tener, trasciende a la persona, pudiéndola incluir en un grupo social o cultura determinado donde comparten intereses y comportamientos.<br></br>

Hay muchos estilos de vida, entre ellos podemos nombrar el estilo de vida saludable donde la persona cuida de manera muy especial sus hábitos alimenticios, realiza una actividad física constante,  cultiva un pensamiento y la actitud positiva ante la vida y en línea general realiza aquello que le produce bienestar y equilibrio.  Dentro de este gran grupo podemos distinguir subgrupos que apoyados en un punto particular desarrollan su estilo: así tenemos los veganos basados en la alimentación; los fitneess apuntalados en la actividad física o los Flourishing (floreciente) que, fundamentados en la psicología positiva, buscan su desarrollo integral desde una perspectiva de “florecimiento” y no en tratar de “encajar” sintiéndose más libres en su ser. <br></br>

Desde esta óptica resulta interesante plantearse la pregunta ¿Ser emprendedor es un estilo de vida y, de ser así, que lo caracteriza? Partamos del hecho de que emprender es una decisión personal que encuentra su asidero en nuestro propósito de vida, por lo que cuando tomamos la decisión de ser emprendedores sabemos que de ello se derivaran cambios sustanciales en nuestro mundo particular que van definiendo y abarcando lo que somos.  Ya con esta concepción podemos afirmar que emprender define un estilo de vida. <br></br>

# Características que definen el estilo de vida del emprendedor<br></br>

### La motivación y el impacto positivo<br></br>

Todo comienza con una motivación que abarca lo que quieres para ti en el presente y como te ves y proyectas en un futuro a corto, mediano y largo plazo. Es cuando llegas a un punto en que te dices, quiero otra cosa en mi vida, por ejemplo: quiero trabajar para mí y no para otros, ser mi propio jefe, desarrollar mi creatividad y moverme en ese mundo donde los resultados dependen grandemente del esfuerzo, trabajo, dedicación, empeño que yo le ponga.<br></br>

Todo ellos para encontrar valores que son importantes para ti, entre estos: independencia, libertad, poder de decisión, liderar u otros más tangibles, como tener posibilidades reales de generar un ingreso mayor que un empleo, no te dará y posiblemente haya otras motivaciones más altruistas que te ofrezca la oportunidad de ser agente transformador de vida porque con tu emprendimiento puedes vislumbrar el apoyo a otros para crecer o ser parte de la solución de  una situación que afecta a muchos. <br></br>

En fin, las motivaciones para emprender pueden ser  múltiples, lo importante a resaltar acá es que el emprendedor siempre impactara vidas con su hacer y como grupo social que somos esperamos que sea un impacto positivo.<br></br>
 
### De la incertidumbre a la certidumbre<br></br>

Hay quienes   afirman que para un emprendedor todos los días son de crisis. La palabra crisis puede ser definida como ese momento de cambio, inestabilidad, riesgo e incertidumbre, y pues hay que reconocer que el estilo de vida del emprendedor tiene un alto nivel de probabilidades de que su día a día se mueva entre situaciones de esta índole, pero por contradictorio que suene en el conocimiento de esta probabilidad está su certidumbre.<br></br>

Sabe y tiene la certeza que cualquier circunstancia puede cambiar y para ello se prepara emocionalmente y crea estrategias que le permita solventar una coyuntura dada y aquí es donde resaltan todas esas fortalezas del carácter de las que tanto hablamos que todo emprendedor debe cultivar como son la paciencia, la resiliencia el ser perseverante, entre otras. <br></br>

Concluyendo en este punto es oportuno acotar que como emprendedores sabemos que nos podemos equivocar, que nos podemos caer y que para salir airosos de ello lo mejor es entrenarnos para aprender de las situaciones y agarrarnos fuertemente de nuestras motivaciones. <br></br>

### La zona de confort no es espacio para el emprendedor<br></br>

Una de las características más visible del emprendedor es que vive en una constante exploración-observación, no se conforma, siempre tendrá una meta más alta para alcanzar. La zona de confort no es para nosotros, el proceso creativo ¡Sí!, la búsqueda constante para mejorar cualquier aspecto del emprendimiento se encuentra presente en el día a día.<br></br>
 
Significa esto que “nunca” tendrás descanso, ¡No!, solo significa que eres consciente que creer que llegaste y apoltronarte hace que la llama emprendedora se apague.  Por lo tanto, el emprendedor disfruta sus logros, los aprecia y valora, pero sabe que el camino sigue, porque en ello está su propósito y el estilo de vida que ha escogido.<br></br><br></br>

There are many lifestyles among them we can name the healthy lifestyle where the person takes special care of their eating habits, performs a constant physical activity, cultivates a positive thinking and attitude towards life and generally performs that which produces well-being and balance.  Within this large group we can distinguish subgroups that, based on a particular point, develop their style: thus we have the vegans based on food; the fitneess based on physical activity or the Flourishing who, based on positive psychology, seek their integral development from a perspective of "flourishing" and not in trying to "fit in", feeling freer in their being. <br></br>

From this point of view, it is interesting to ask the question: Is being an entrepreneur a lifestyle and, if so, what characterizes it? Let's start from the fact that entrepreneurship is a personal decision that is rooted in our life purpose, so that when we make the decision to be entrepreneurs we know that this will lead to substantial changes in our particular world that will define and encompass who we are.  Already with this conception we can affirm that entrepreneurship defines a lifestyle. <br></br>

# Characteristics that define the entrepreneur's lifestyle<br></br>

### Motivation and positive impact<br></br>

It all starts with a motivation that encompasses what you want for yourself in the present and how you see and project yourself in the short, medium and long term future. It is when you reach a point where you say you want something else in my life, for example: I want to work for me and not for others, be my own boss, develop my creativity and move in that world where the results depend greatly on the effort, work, dedication, commitment that I put.<br></br>

All of them to find values that are important to you, among these: independence, freedom, power of decision, to lead or other more tangible ones like having real possibilities to generate a higher income that a job will not give you and possibly there are other more altruistic motivations that offer you the opportunity to be a transforming agent of life because with your entrepreneurship you can glimpse the support to others to grow or be part of the solution to a situation that affects many. <br></br>

In short, the motivations for entrepreneurship can be multiple, the important thing to highlight here is that the entrepreneur will always impact lives with his actions and as the social group that we are, we hope that it will be a positive impact.<br></br>
 
### From uncertainty to certainty<br></br>

There are those who say that for an entrepreneur every day is a crisis. The word crisis can be defined as that moment of change, instability, risk and uncertainty, and it must be recognized that the lifestyle of the entrepreneur has a high level of probability that his day to day moves between situations of this nature, but as contradictory as it may sound, in the knowledge of this probability is his certainty.<br></br>

He knows and has the certainty that any circumstance can change and for this he prepares himself emotionally and creates strategies that allow him to solve a given situation and here is where all those character strengths that we talk so much about that every entrepreneur must cultivate such as patience, resilience, perseverance, among others, stand out.<br></br>
 
Concluding at this point it is appropriate to note that as entrepreneurs we know that we can make mistakes, that we can fall and that to get out of it the best thing to do is to train ourselves to learn from situations and hold on tightly to our motivations. <br></br>

### The comfort zone is no place for the entrepreneur<br></br>

One of the most visible characteristics of the entrepreneur is that he lives in a constant exploration-observation, he is not satisfied, he will always have a higher goal to reach. It just means that you are aware that believing that you have arrived and getting stuck in the comfort zone makes the entrepreneurial flame go out.  Therefore, the entrepreneur enjoys his achievements, appreciates and values them but knows that the road continues, because in it is his purpose and the lifestyle he has chosen.<br></br><br></br>
