In the case of monsters, I always do it in such a way that I don't think much, that is, I don't visualize the final work, I make it something random but without stopping making a sketch previously

Well it serves to unite colors and ink achieving a clean transition from one to the other and depending on the hue in which the color was, it will leave a light layer of its original ink, in the case of red it will leave a pinkish and yellowish hue, in the case of the blue marker will give a shade a bit purple and bluish but very faint, and of course this being a sponge the tip of these can absorb the color of the ink and the colors of crayons mixing and creating varied pale shades, the question is try and see what the result is
