@dan, @dantheman, I was messaged on this today since I am on my #SteemitStrike, because of all the nonsense, strange behaviour and clear politics and favoritism on here.  I came to honour you as a human being, not a perfect one, and not knowing the whole story.  And give a word of thanks and well wishes.  

I thought hard about whether or not to make a comment at all, why, who will flag me and disagree with me, who will flag me and hold ill will in the future but this is why I said Content Creators should go on  #SteemitStrike  for a week.

 --- no content --- no nothing for anyone and the whales and the investors and the dev's, none of us.  So things would get communicated, and get fixed with all the abuse and weird things happening here.  Months of issues like this dragging on and on and on like the years of Bitcoin politics and scaling issues and look where they (we) are at today.

I have worked very hard on here to provide valuable content, learned how to blog, and daily help and encourage people like many people only to be continually shut out like many others who we all have watched leave.

@dan - I don't know how to get ahold of you but I am easy to find if you want to keep in touch.  I came here to say these things, continue my stance on what I believe is right and this is my only comment here this week online.

I wanted to wish you the best and make sure you know that.     If people are not seeing the issues, why people are upset, leaving en masse, content suffering and a community we love suffering with a lot of banter and only the top 1% of accounts benefitting socially and financially, maybe the wake up call is finally here.  

Censoring people on their own platform, that we are all stakeholders on, causing harm to people as a few like to do, when content here is what is key along with the social media tied to it - is not working.  Most of the whales do not create content, I keep saying.   That is the base of everything here.  

The top 100 accounts (the 1% thing in life again)  here are largely owned and controlled by a handful of people -- who vote for their friends, scare people at times on here - create NO content and then they wonder why people leave.  

And if you speak out, or question anything in life, you get flagged, ignored for an opinion, or targeted.  

Sounds a lot like censorship, government overlording by the few, while the masses suffer and that sounds nothing like Liberty to me.  

- I know --- I have been targeted for years as an activist always trying to help people and encourage them.

My last 2 posts on Steemit before my break where I have no issues in life sticking to what I know is right.  There is plenty of proof on the internet about me doing that standing up to bullies and corruption in the name of actual Liberty.

Best of luck to you @dan, you are one of a kind and an unique mind. You created Bitshares and Steemit, both platforms have had impact in the life of so many people and businesses that have been created around both of them. 

If Steemit is not perfect is because people are not perfect, we could tweak it and change it all we want, there will always be someone trying to take advantage of the system... but you should be damm proud of yourself for what you accomplished here. 

I have learned a lot from you and will for sure follow you on your future endeavours.
