Forever Labs is a new startup which wants to harvest your stem cells to reverse aging

We know that anti-aging is becoming a new industry and startups are now forming with this mission. Currently while we have no way based on biomarkers to determine the biological age of someone we do have stem cell research which attempts to rejuvenate broken or damaged organs. Stem cells have perhaps some of the greatest potential to extend lifespan because a lot of aging happens due to organ failures or broken organs. This startup charges patients to extract stem cells while they are young, then a fee for storage and when the patient gets old these stem cells can be recovered and used. A patient can pay an upfront cost which is $7000 for stem cell extraction and life time storage.

I am intrigued and excited about stem cells. One thing I discovered recently is that you are not likely to get a before and after picture that shows complete healing. You are likely to experience less or no pain in an injured area. Did you know that you may need to repeat the stem cell treatment every 6 years? I will know more after my friend with debilitating back pain from a car accident gets stem cell treatment.

Biology is now operating under the law of informational technology.  They are breaking the DNA down just like computer code.  With things such as CRISPR, we are going to see people modified at the gene level.  This is a major step for improving health and increasing life spans.

While there is great debate at the moment as to what the best approach is, there is no doubt in my mind stem cells offer a way to "reverse" the aging process (or at least slow it).  

As for the cost, the nice thing is with technology, the rich always pave the way for the masses.  Watch for this price to see $1000 in a couple years.
