This empowerment is mostly for households meaning a few percentages of youth will benefit depending on where and who you are living with. How will the issue of youth empowerment be strongly addressed? There has been issues of unemployment with an ever-increasing labour [market](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-market). We all know a massive number of Nigerian youths knows how to use the [Internet](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-internet). Can this be used by the government to salvage unemployment challenges? Of course.

There have been many attempts of such programs yet it seems it has always ended up in futility or should I say ‘near futility’. [humans](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-human) in between a huge amount of sponsoring [funds](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-fund) will always involve flaws. [greed](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-greed) will indeed set it; corrupted dissemination system is one of them. Some regions may be more favoured than others. This will continue to be the challenge of centralized system. Is there no way this can be curb? It is a matter of understanding the best pattern to empower the youth. As I earlier said, a huge percentage of our youth are on the internet.

This is where a web3 patterned of youth support should step in. Instead of them making a one [time](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-time) donation support, this particular one will be different, as long as they keep showing up for platform activities, rewards are likely.

For me, this idea is a win-win. Instead of directly giving out fund donations, they can keep the funds in [terms](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-term-insurance) of stakes while allowing enough financial inflow to be occurring in the ecosystem for much tangible rewards. The youths needs to be trained how to fish rather than just given fishes. It will definitely salvage the challenge of millions of youths in our country. I am not a fan of this one time empowerment pay. I think I have talked about how a more populated investment minded environment will help sustain the economy. Many will in the process go long [term](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-terms), it will in entirety add value to the ecosystem in terms of both [price](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-price) and utility. 

Many countries of the [world](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-world) need to turn their attention to how they can use the new technological systems to either boost or salvage their economy. One thing always leads to another. The absence of [jobs](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-job) has led to inconveniences; increase in [crime](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-crime) waves, malnutrion, angry [MOP](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-mop-currency) activities and so on. If web3 can help out, let it be applied sentiments aside.

To conclude, let me add, I think this idea is easier said than done yet I must say at least it was first voiced out. Who knows who can build from this idea. [digital](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-digital) realm opens door for [poverty](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-poverty) eradication. It is all about flexibility; easy investment, easy job creation and the rest of the likes. We are looking for a more rewarding system and one should not doubt web3 possibilities.
