https://media.giphy.com/media/7JvlHfd7C2GDr7zfZF/giphy.gif

[s o u r c e](https://giphy.com/gifs/7JvlHfd7C2GDr7zfZF)

https://media.giphy.com/media/QKUTD5lAgpgrSHpbMB/giphy.gif

[s o u r c e](https://giphy.com/gifs/happy-girl-QKUTD5lAgpgrSHpbMB)

What beliefs limit you? I don't know if this kind of thoughts are innate or if they are part of the education we receive, in which we are always exposed to limits and to the phrase: *''not everyone is born with the same opportunities''.*

How much truth is there behind it? I understand that we are not all born with the same economic advantage, I also understand that for some it is more difficult to achieve certain things than others, but, I am a supporter of the thought that *if you can believe it, you can create it.*

The premise of this bloggin challenge is: **Limited Beliefs.**

https://media.giphy.com/media/7JvlHfd7C2GDr7zfZF/giphy.gif

[s o u r c e](https://giphy.com/gifs/7JvlHfd7C2GDr7zfZF)

Let's say that it is a common evil the fact that we all have beliefs that limit us to achieve certain goals in life, either because we do not bet on us or because others do not. Something that can always be observed is that the word **I can't** seems that you carry it framed in the brain.

Most of the time we tend to doubt both our physical capacity, as well as our intellectual capacity and it is that, really the limiting beliefs are pigeonholed in those two words **I cannot.** The rest is just a string of justifications to make your excuse acceptable.

**I can't because I don't have enough physical resistance:** you can build it.

**I can't because I don't know about it:** you can study it.

**I can't because he/she is better than me:** you can improve, use that as motivation to better yourself every day.

https://media.giphy.com/media/QKUTD5lAgpgrSHpbMB/giphy.gif

[s o u r c e](https://giphy.com/gifs/happy-girl-QKUTD5lAgpgrSHpbMB)

But the truth is that it really costs us a lot to take the initiative to start improving, some people out of fear and other people out of laziness, we must also be honest in that matter. Many of the limiting beliefs, beyond being beliefs, are attitudes that keep us in a state of comfort where laziness is who reigns in this case. Instead of getting up to exercise, it is preferable to stay lying on the couch.

But is this an innate part of us or have we learned it? And here my answer is, it depends. It all depends on what your upbringing has been like, the patterns you have learned through it and everything that has been taught over the years. A child is much more likely to be a reader because they see their parents reading constantly than if they don't, but there will always be exceptions.

These beliefs simply come from all the information we are receiving through the years of our development, basically when we limit ourselves to do something by a thought, we are really giving weight to everything we have been learning since childhood.

An example of this would be: **''my parents told me that I would never make money being a cartoonist, therefore, I know that I won't make money being a cartoonist''.** It is a learned opinion.

https://media.giphy.com/media/2eN0NkCvhjxqo/giphy.gif

[s o u r c e](https://giphy.com/gifs/fitness-anyone-runner-2eN0NkCvhjxqo)

Whenever that big **"I can't"** comes to your mind accompanied by a lot of justifications, look at the people who have succeeded and ask yourself: if they could do it, why can't I? Exactly, take the reins of those thoughts and let them flow until they disappear, the only person who can determine the course of your life is you, therefore, take the right position and take that big step.

Failure is part of life and it is better to tell a good story of how you tried and all that it taught you. To tell a story of how you wish you had even tried.
