Así que me puse manos a la obra y me dispuse a investigar, cómo preparar las tortillas y también busqué una receta de relleno vegano, puesto que ya no consumo animales por salud. Y, aunque realmente no sé con qué compararlos porque nunca antes los había probado, debo decir que su sabor fue indescriptible y quedé feliz con el resultado. 

Aunque admiro a los mexicanos por hacer las tortillas perfectamente redondas, fue una odisea si quiera intentarlo hahaha.

So I got down to work and started researching how to prepare the tortillas and I also looked for a vegan filling recipe, since I no longer eat animals for health reasons. And, although I really don't know what to compare them to because I had never tried them before, I must say that their flavor was indescribable and I was happy with the result.

Although I admire Mexicans for making perfectly round tortillas, it was an odyssey to even try hahaha.

El relleno lo preparé con lentejas cocidas y lo aderecé casi igual a mis hamburguesas de lentejas.

Es decir: ***comino, pimienta, sal, pimiento rojo, cebolla, ajo y salsa inglesa***. 

Inclusive busqué una receta del guacamole mexicano para acompañar a los tacos y creo que esa fue la combinación ideal para estos *'tacos'*.

I prepared the stuffing with cooked lentils and seasoned it almost the same as my lentil burgers.

That is: ***cumin, pepper, salt, red bell pepper, onion, garlic and Worcestershire sauce.***

I even looked up a recipe for Mexican guacamole to go with the tacos and I think that was the ideal combination for these *'tacos'.*

Así que mi veredicto final es que ha sido de las mejores comidas que he probado hasta ahora. Me siento muy feliz de haber tomado la decisión de prepararlos. 

Sé que no son como los de México y muy probable el sabor ni se acerque, pero el esfuerzo valió la pena. 

El sabor es excepcional y, creo que la magia radica en esa combinación entre el carbohidrato y el ''*guiso*'' o relleno que le coloques, además de que el guacamole le da un sabor increíble. 

Si tuve algo de duda en probar las lentejas con el guacamole, pero ya no me arrepiento de nada. ¡Gracias México por habernos mostrado los tacos al resto del mundo! 🇲🇽

So my final verdict is that it has been one of the best meals I have tasted so far. I am very happy that I made the decision to prepare them.

I know they are not like the ones from Mexico and the taste is probably not even close, but the effort was worth it.

The flavor is exceptional and I think the magic lies in the combination of the carbohydrate and the ''stew'' or filling you put in them, plus the guacamole gives them an incredible flavor.

Yes I had some hesitation in trying the lentils with the guacamole, but I no longer regret anything. Thank you Mexico for showing us tacos to the rest of the world! 🇲🇽

Se ve muy bien, como todo un taco y no te preocupes por lo menos intentaste hacerlas redondas, lo bueno es que es fácil de preparar

I had time without reading your post @danielapevs and this one has pleasantly surprised me, as usual. Tacos can contain so much variety, so many flavors, that I think the combinations are endless. This one that you bring today even being vegan, has full flavor, which is ideal for any lunch or dinner that we want to do. Regarding tortillas, well, Mexicans are all artists making them, but I think they also help each other with special tools to flatten them. Good introduction, good ingredient list, great photos, and a neat step-by-step and a super appetizing result. A big greeting.

Tenía tiempo sin leer tus post @danielapevs y este me ha sorprendido gratamente, como de costumbre. Los tacos pueden encerrar dentro de sí tanta variedad, tantos sabores, que creo que las combinaciones son infinitas. Este que traes hoy aún siendo vegano, tiene full sabor, lo cual es ideal para cualquier almuerzo o cena que querramos hacer. Respecto a las tortillas, bueno, los mexicanos son todos unos artistas haciéndolas, pero creo que se ayudan también con unas herramientas especiales para aplanarlas. Buena introducción, buena lista de ingredientes, excelentes fotos y un paso a paso prolijo y un resultado súper apetitoso. Un gran saludo.
