Where has all the good news gone? Some might say from huge media outlets like cnbc and fox. Other's their favorite youtube broadcasters. But the thing that most won't say is the streets where the actually true life stories come from. I'd like to think of Steem as a true source for alternative news in first hand accounts of the worlds happenings. Although some are copy and pasted from other sites "The ones we don't upvote" I have seen some great perspectives on world events that I have not seen on mainstream news sites. The thing with steem as it is still in beta and might not ever leave is it provides an excellent place for real news in times of countless pointless news stories around the world. That and with it's spin on things about crypto. Steem and Busy could one day become a very big thing as far as the happenings that affect everyone around you. from a simple tech article to a global political opinion. News matters when you wake up and grab your morning coffee. And let's face it people the old newspaper thing is almost a thing of the past with politicians agendas and pre written articles although this isn't nazi germany some news is still distorted and biased to say the least. 

If we all come together to write articles on news or even if we all just post blogs around events that are happening in the real world.No way will Steem not fit in with the masses and true adaption could take place. very few of my old friends on facebook use steemit. I have about none that have made it over here all because of this very simple thing that can bring on a use case. Steem should be for news. If we open our notepads and all become reporters in this small place not only will we have a job but we will play multiple parts in the news medias rankings. As a news reporter not many have 100% of their pay in their own hands that is usually left to the overheads or bosses in the network to discuss and lay out. Another thing is they point news reporters to certain stories where is steemians could just all be at the right place at the right time like mainstream social medias pickup on because their website is always trending. We can start small and work our way up. Like I said there are already tones of peoples writing news on steem that hasn't even got an ounce of coverage on regular telivision making us already a good place for alternative news. Keep up the good work.
