Went for breakfast last Saturday with a friend. I rarely if ever go for breakfast. This is one of those occasions. We went to a nearby hawker centre that opens from breakfast and it was packed. There a handful of stalls here but the famous stall that most go here for is the 'Char Kuey Teow'. Its a Penang style fried noodles and this uncle that fries the noodles has been here since I was a teenager. We had to wait about 30 minutes for our food to arrive as there was a long queue of orders before us.  We got ourselves a plate of 'Char Kuey Teow' each with added duck egg. The noodles are fried in a wok with spring onions, beansprouts, prawns, eggs, soy sauce, and dark soy sauce. It's all cooked with pork lard that gives it an amazing aroma as well as a smokey flavor from frying it in a wok with high flames. For my drink I ordered a cup of iced coffee. I think this is my 2nd cup of coffee this year so far.  A yummy lunch that accomplished some good things through conversation.

5 years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us.
