Welcome to the generation where the basic needs don't hold much good to just food, cloth, and shelter but to at least a tv set, fridge, a vehicle or basically access to electricity connection 24×7  as well. This could be well understood if you have ever faced a power cut for at least an hour at your facilities. Only the uncharged mobiles, the absence of light and fans or AC makes you realize how hard life is. But, there are still regions holding to the previous conventions of food, cloth, and shelter and strive very hard to receive this obvious basic facility given to the urban areas.

We are talking here about the off-gridders or people of the rural areas still fighting for this fundamental installation. They have a different zone of life out of the imagination of the urban who find these places as an adventure break out for a little time from their routine lives. Our project has come up to bridge this lacking of the off gridders using blockchain. Let's understand how.


All about the project:
======================

The rural people still use energy sources such as wood, kerosene or plastics leading to a great percentage of carbon emissions. The mission of the bitumens is to replace these sources with cheaper and more safer renewable energy resources using the two latest technologies - Blockchain and IoT ( Internet of Things). The rural woman can request for the service in the blockchain software. Upon the request, they will be provided with solar-powered systems that would generate electricity at nominal rates. Smart measuring meters will also be installed that will monitor the energy consumed, percentage of battery remaining which will be notifying the users on their cell phone as well as help to calculate the final energy consumption.

The two important benefits of the project:

- Empower gender equality by letting rural women own the sensor data and thus get carbon credits to assist financially.

- Great reduction in carbon emission by following carbon mitigation policies.

The ICO and team information:

The platform uses BLS tokens. BLS is the ERC 20 based cryptocurrency that will support every trade such as investment and installation of the machines through the platform. The pre-ICO sale for the same is scheduled from 29^th^ May 2018 to 18^th^ June 2018. The ICO sale is then scheduled from midnight of 19th June 2018and will last for a period of 28 days. The user needs to be KYC certified to be a part of the ICO.
