I agree. It prevents restriction of information about the truth in reality, and also isn't an authoritarian mouthpiece of disinfo and misinfo to forcefully warp our perception of reality.

Your post and comment below are exceptional and relevant to a current conflict on Steemit. I have been trying to help a guy called Skeptic whose rep went from 40ish down to 2. He has a colourful way of talking and he's a hot head but he didn't deserve such a severe rep drop without a few warnings first. Also, much of what he said has been twisted and misrepresented, so that a superficial glance puts him squarely in the wrong. Don't get me wrong, I understand why some people find him annoying but I believe that he has been wronged and it is being largely ignored.
