Could you switch to a simpler phone?

What if your smartphone stopped working, and the only replacement option was a basic call-only flipphone, could you do it?

Would you miss having all the apps you installed on your device? Would you be able to recall any phone numbers for friends? If you downgraded, would you lose 2FA and access to your bank account?

Without YouTube or Facebook or X, would you feel isolated from the rest of the world? What would you do without being connected to ai powered 5g high speed Bluetooth enabled networks? Can you imagine what life would be like for you then?

You may still have a PC, at least until windows 11 copies your entire hard drive into the cloud. Would your meta ray bans still work? How could your smartwatch track your steps and record your heart rate without the latest device upgrade?

Where would you read the news, a newspaper, with stories written yesterday? How could you get your dopamine fix for attention, exercise?

How would you listen to the latest jingles or dances without tiktok? Listening to someone play an instrument or watch them showing off on the dance floor? Do those even exist anymore? No, without upgrading to the latest $2000 device you will be left out, locked out, alone and sad all the time.

Life revolves around our online personas and without constant status updates you are as good as a ghost to the people, bots and scammers in your network. And without any smart phone at all, how will they call you day and night?

What is a secure email anyways, 96% full of metadata spam, impossible to clear without opening the preview, and asking for a backup email to keep you safe?
