Last month when I did this, it cost twice as much as I expected. It is amazing how little the Loonie buys in 2021, and I suspect that we are still being sheltered from the true cost of these goods today.

I can imagine that next year it will be even more expensive, with transitory inflation sticking around for a while. As long as governments continue to print money I see no reason for thr debasement of our currency to stop.

I am not trying to complain too much but I have to decide what is most important when it comes to grocery shopping. Here is my list as I prepare to venture out into the apocalypse.

How much will this cost? I am going to estimate $75 maybe $85. 🤔 I will update this as I pick up what I need. What do you buy every week? Are you noticing an increase in prices?

As expected it was a bit more than I predicted. I did buy $18 worth of extra items that I added last minute, I couldn't find ground turkey, and had to visit another store for the apples.
