I know this is nuts. Just stay with me for a second... lol. To wrap your head around this, perhaps just consider it as a thought experiment for the first 15mins. I would like to hear your input.

I personally, **seriously think this is worth exploring**, as the current 'situation' we all seem to find ourselves in, is not exactly what I, or what most of us would consider 'ideal', at least, not in my eyes. Not by a long shot. What about you? 

We seem to have sort of lost our ways. I don't know, maybe I am crazy!? :D I don't think so. I think the world has just gone mad. 

### My proposal

We purchase land and build a (mostly) self-sustaining community, that is based off of a sharing environment, obviously the currency is skills, agricultural, carpentry, farming, animal, health, nunchuck skills, computer hacking skillz, currency is Steem/Bitcoin etc or the like + exchange.

We use it for agriculture, aquaponics, community, tech, so-forth, and we just all use our skills to maintain the community. I can't see how that does not work.

Utopia.

I am quite serious.

Just as a concept, at the least. Towards something, I don't know... better?

Something like this:

### A large, beautiful and otherwise uninhabited area. Small, sturdy, comfortable micro dwellings with electricity provided by the sun. Agriculture (fruit, vegetables), fresh water and other necessities. A stable internet connection. A completely 100% democratic, provably-fair, blockchain-based voting system in which each and every citizens vote counts towards building the future of our Steemtopia.

Society, and so forth.  

I mean, obviously there would be a lot to think about, but isn't this the perfect sort of place work this sort of thing out? I mean we have **all** sorts of amazing skills available within us all here, as a collective...

Add on top of that, the fact that this platform provides us with a truly democratic way in which to settle things, as in via voting mechanisms and the like, and so-forth and so-on..

**p.s. Governance and all decision making within our community could be maintained in a strictly  democratic, blockchain based, voting decisions, like the following: First of all we need a name? For example, submit a name in the comments of this post, then the most voted at (n) payout is our name for our community, things of this nature... :D **

p.p.s. I am really quite serious about this. I would love to make something like this happen. I think we should try this, it **could truly be amazing**!?? Could we at **least** open up the conversation? I think it is a very worthwhile discussion we should be having.

The colouredpaper would be created in the hope of forming an initial outline and/or blueprint for the vision of Steemtopia, its objectives, purpose, and practical ways in which I believe this project could be achieved.
