FYI - Index Token Shutting Down

I am sharing this with the community so that everyone is aware. I must have been not paying much attention to what was going on and totally missed when the announcement was made that the

INDEX token is shutting down

When I discovered this last week, I jumped on the market and sold my shares. It was not until today that I thought there might be other Index holders that might also not know about this shutting down. Lately I have been finding out information way late so at first just thought I was one of the last to learn about it.

I started investing in this token when I first joined the Hive blockchain 4 years ago and was happy that I was in the top 50 holders of the token. I loved getting the dividends of the various tokens. I was very pleased with its performance.

I stopped checking the Index website a few years back but every now and then I would just check to review the Index tokens holdings.

This time was no different. I was pulling up the website and was very surprised when nothing came up but only to find this message displayed.

"The INDEX token is shutting down."
"Thank you for all of your support!"

I double check the link I had bookmarked with the one displayed on the Hive Engine token info button and it was the same so I was not pulling up a bad website.

I do not know if more buy offers from the index account will be placed on the market since they did have the token holdings backing up the value of the index token. But currently there is only one buy order listed and lots of people have listed their tokens for sell at a higher price.

In Type 1 Diabetes, like other autoimmune diseases, the body's immune system attacks its own tissue/organ. In diabetes (type 1), the Beta cells of the pancreas become the target. 

A new promising drug, called Teplizumab, is believed to correct the mistake of the immune system, to some extent, delaying the necessity of Insulin, the only effective treatment for type 1 DM.
