Yeah, music and comparing yourself with others are two different ways to lift your emotions.
The most motivated person(s) believe that its/their current situation is another person's prayer point.

Greetings, it's true what you say if we are without courage we have to go out and contemplate nature and think about positive things or projects that we have in mind helps a lot. Stay alive.

Does music 🎶 really help in uplifting someone who feels down. Now I don't listen any, but before, when I was sad, I used to listen the sad songs/music. Seemed that it made me more depressed. 

Anyway, the second and third advices are more practical I think and workable.
