IAAC - Day 74 Remove the Negative replace with Positive

Today is Friday, August 13th, *the luckiest day of the year*, and I am happy to be alive.

There are times when something that made you happy no longer does. At that point in time you need to consider removing the old things that do not add value for you any more. This can be old files, a pile of outdated newspapers or magazines, even thoughts.

The sunflower plants that I have been sharing pictures with you over the past two months are now starting to wither. Even though that brought great happiness when they were fresh with green leaves. The weather which has been close to 100F over the past week with no rain for several weeks is planning to stay hot and dry. It is now time for me to clean them from the yard. We will recycle and let them decompose in the back of our lot so nature can take it's course.

The sunflowers are just an example of the cleansing we all need to do from time to time not just with our surroundings but also with our minds. Change your thinking habits by removing negative thoughts, any regrets, fears, resentments, etc. Replace these thoughts with positive things and affirmations. You will be able to approach challenges differently when you are in a positive state of mind instead of an attitude of defeatism.
