Progress Update - Focus on Building a Solid Foundation

Well the USA Federal Reserve increased interest rates again to try to impact the rising inflation. Almost every news channel is reporting that inflation is out of hand and a recession is about to occur.

Even here on the hive platform, inflation posts are very numerous. I am trying not to focus on the bad news that is happening but on what I can do to further build a solid foundation so that I can weather any storm that my come along. My focus is on accumulation.

## Hive Target

I am targeting 2,500 Hive Power by the end of the year. I am working very hard to hit that goal.
It is a stretch but I don't want to settle for a small achievable goal which would not push me.

Over the past few weeks, I have been working on setting up a Hive Engine Witness. It uses resource credits, so I delegated 400 Hive Power to running the node. Since I needed to fund this, I decided to delegate it now and add new funds and power them up on HPUD.

I currently have 1435 HP, up 23 from last week. I will need to keep increasing my weekly earnings to focus on reaching my goal but I will get there one way or another. I will stay active and not stop trying because I am not where I want to be just yet.

## Author and Curation Rewards
This week, my 7 day Author rewards took a big jump up this week to 41.39 from 27.4 last week. I am pleasantly surprised with the jump and hope it can be maintained. However since I have no control over the value of the votes I receive, the value received from author rewards can fluctuate greatly.

The main thing is for me to consistently create content on a daily basis. My 30 day Author rewards slightly increased as well to 118.97 from 114.23.

My 7 day curation rewards dropped to 1.55 from 1.99 last week. I think this is due to the large delegation I did to my HE node but am not certain. I have been working to have less of my curation in the dust threshold range, I am hoping the small amounts I power up each week will assist with that.

## Hive Account Growth

I am continuing to push my hive account growth. Over the past 30 days, the line has continued its upward trend.

## Hive Curation
I have to admit, my Hive curation APR really surprised me this week. It increased to 9.73% to 8.21% last week. This is the third week in a row that I have been in my target range so I am pleased with where it is. My target is to have my curation APR between 8 and 10%.

The jump in APR reflects that it is not stabilized. I believe it is due to the Hive delegation throwing the calculations off but do not know for certain.

## Hive Engine Tokens
Currently my main focus is to increase my Hive balance and the four below Hive Engine Tokens. It is a careful balancing act between these goals. However I believe they work to compliment each other.

These tokens that I have chosen have several use cases that are important to me. Here are my targets and progress for each of the specific tokens I have created a 2022 goal.

CTP - 25,000 - current holding 17,058 (removed 2000 delegation-in)
**68.2% of Goal**

Alive - 20,000 - current holding 15,052
**75.2% of Goal**

OneUp - 20,000 - current holding 6,933
**34.6% of Goal**

LEO - 1,000 - current holding 343
**34.3% of Goal**
